Mike Haynie was just announced as Syracuse University’s 13th chancellor. I sat down with him on 3 occasions. In November of 2021, I pressed him on his COVID response and why Syracuse was still in “Code Red.” In 2022, we discussed President Biden’s visit to the city and Micron’s announcement to build a semiconductor facility in Clay, NY. In 2023, we talked about the programs and opportunities Micron was going to bring Syracuse students in future years.
