Every time the apologists for Trump's illegal blockade of Cuba open their mouths, they make our arguments for us. Cuba's wealth in the 1950s was concetrated in the hands of the top 1% of that country: foreign mobsters, sugar plantation owners and the upper echelons of government. The Cuban people were starving. Cuba's GDP was higher in the 1950s because millions of dollars was being funneled through the Mafia's money laundering operations AND it is lower today because there has been a 60+ year embargo on Cuba by the United States. These idiots are celebrating a nation that was literally run by organized crime. Everyone makes choices.

You aren't making your desired point. Cubans were wealthier in 1958 than today. There was *less* hunger back then in Cuba than today. One example of industrial wealth is electricity, something that Cuba had in 1958 but can't produce today. Yeah, the Mob was in Cuba (lots of room for improvement there), yet was still superior to Communism there today.

You should be absolutely furious about this $200 billion ask for the war. I guarantee you if you asked for $200 billion in health care or food for American people, you'd be laughed out of Congress. There's no money for that! But as soon as Israel asks, it'll fly through Congress.
