@jondelarroz The fought the Separatist War, the Original trilogy galactic civil war and the First Order War. Sounds like multiple star wars to me.

@loneangelx I always assumed it was by robbing wealthy people when they first became vampires, then letting a few centuries of compound interest do the rest.

@Dashytwo They "jumped" him because he was trying to murder Bucky for something that Bucky was mind-controlled into doing.

@MattOsterndorf Yoda was the head of the Jedi Council for probably over half a millennium. Do you really, truly want to be the snot-nosed pedant giving him grammar critiques? I wouldn't. Talk how he wants, he should.

This is something that the original trilogy did much better, largely by ditching the alternative diction when it doesn't sound good.

@DT2ComicsChat I'm a little sad that Animal Farm is shitting the bed because Iman Vellani did a couple of the voices in her first non-Marvel role. I really want to see her in more non-Marvel stuff.

No one has a problem with Iman Vellani. She's wonderful, a true fangirl, and a lot like the character she plays. None of that is the problem. The problem is that they won't accept that Kamala Khan just isn't that popular, no matter how hard they've tried to shoehorn her into everything (Avengers, Inhumans, Spider-Man, X-Men).
Fandom Pulse@fandompulse

Kevin Feign on why he would not sideline Ms. Marvel despite The Marvels becoming the lowest-grossing film in MCU history: Feige called Iman Vellani's casting as Ms. Marvel "one of the greatest bits of casting we've ever done" and confirmed the character would not be sidelined despite the film's performance. The MCU's biggest flop and he's doubling down. Is Feige out of touch with his own audience?

@MCU_Direct The Punisher took out Doom's armor with an EMP device and then, over several hours, beat him to death with a sledgehammer. "Power" is relative.

@Bigdaddyvinz_ The Atreides. At the start of Dune, they own a planet. Then, they trade that planet for another, richer planet. All the other families here own, at most, parts of a planet.

@Gingerblast In many ways "evil" can be defined as extreme selfishness. An "evil" civ being the ally of a good civ can easily be explained if that alliance is in the obvious self-interest. Hell, Stalin was an evil mother-fucker and Russia under him was our ally during WWII.

With each player running a god and civilization in my game, a problem I have is that the game seems to bleed evil players. In the 3 years I've been having players control gods, I lost 4/19 players and all 4 were controlling evil civs and gods. While I lost 4 players at different points (and at least 2 were for reasons unrelated to the game), I've seen others who initially wanted to play an evil god/civ, but ended up buddying up with the good-aligned ones. I love running my game as a war game layered over an RPG, but it seems that the social aspects of the war game make it difficult for players to play evil civs, but their role is among the most important because they are some of the biggest catalysts for conflict. I'm guessing the disparity is because they may feel that everyone in the game is against them and it makes them not want to play aggressively. I'm not sure if I need to specifically give advantages to them in the future or what. I'm thinking I may just need to be clearer with people that playing an evil god is the most difficult and yet most important role. I think this may be a problem also specific to my group because everyone just wants to be friends and respect each others territory despite the incentives for combat!

@memeslich Ignorant. I'm already ignorant of a lot of stuff. Very little knowledge of Russian history. Can't speak Spanish worth a damn despite two years in high school. Etc.

@z_kokonut Probably a bit of both. If Vader had spoken in Maul: Shadow Lord, the story would have been about that. Either how bad it compared to Jones or how AI or whatever ripped off his voice.

Is Darth Vader silent in Maul Shadow Lord because the original VA has, unfortunately, passed away or did they not have him speak for aura farming? RIP James Earl Jones.

@choppaslide Paul was the end product of a massive multi-generational breeding campaign designed to create a super-prophet. That's pretty fucking "Chosen One" in my book.

@gnomedepot Five year olds have access to the internet and movies and other mass media. "Mass media" isn't a thing in most D&D settings. Unless your character lives near a place where blue dragons are a thing, no, they probably wouldn't know much about blue dragons.

Let me get this straight a 5 year old knows you can kill a werewolf with a silver bullet. And they don’t exist in this world. But my character can’t possibly know that blue dragons breathe lightning. And they do exist in their world.

@roger_stev82377 Depends on your definition of "win." I think Sam could probably outwit Homelander and get away from him. I doubt Sam could outright kill or defeat Homelander.
