A rare opportunity to listen to the voice of Palestine, unfiltered - as it was heard in the UN. Every one of its eleven minutes is worth it.

One hour and 43 minutes since departing Southern Cross the 5.38 Wendouree train is still sitting aimlessly in a paddock in Dunnstown. V/line really is abysmal sometimes.

Q: Why do you support the #VoiceToParliament? "The simple answer is because the Indigenous community has asked us to." "The hard question is why would you say no?" "How at this point in history would you think, ‘Nah they've had it too good for too long'?" @RDNS_TAI #auspol

Just wrote a long piece on it for the Herald, and I find the story very moving. But not sure if it would work as a book?

‘What is critically important in understanding history is that the call for a voice to parliament is not a new initiative. Aboriginal activists nearly 100 years ago..called for a voice to parliament as part of their political platform..during the 1920s.’ theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

@aliceleung Qualifications do matter but as a mature aged student half way through my teaching masters I have to say the method of assessment with every subject is the same. We are constantly taught about the need to differentiate but all assessments are a 4000 word assignment

Not much attention was paid to it, but that productivity commission report released recently had horrible sections saying teacher qualifications don’t matter. 4/6

Uncompetitive pay and unsustainable workloads are driving teachers away. Resignations now outstrip retirements. All fast tracking will do is speed up a trickle of teachers into profession who then leave. #MoreThanThanks smh.com.au/national/nsw/t… 1/6
