@david_obrien But you could definitely containerise your Functions app and run it in ACA. I haven't done that myself yet, although I did containerise a Functions app a while back to get it running on a Raspberry PI 🙂 endjin.com/blog/2019/09/r…

@david_obrien Yes, absolutely! We decided to refactor our app because we weren't using any of the "special sauce" provided by Functions - it was simply an API supporting a SPA, which (it turns out) isn't a great use case for them.

@jon_george1 I read your series here. Thanks! endjin.com/blog/2023/01/b… Looking to move a Function App (on a Premium plan because needs vnet) to ACA. I was wondering why you refactored your app? Would it not be possible to host our Function (few http and durable Functions) as is in a container?

I'm amazed at the vitriol from tech leaders complaining about having their (& company) time wasted having to discuss an OSS component. If it's in your software supply chain, you have to realise you own that dependency. If you derive value from it, you *need* to support it
