@jonathan_dejong @richardmz13 Nice! It’s a really faithful adaptation, and if you’ve read the book you’ll pick up on a lot of small details that they put in the movie but didn’t have time to explain.

come to think of it, there are probably three ways to experience #ProjectHailMary: • haven't read the book - overstimulating but FUN • read it- your background will guide you • read only half - that third act may surprise you all very different, all very enriching

I’m surprised at how often I am described as “authentic” by others, usually in a way that makes it seem like such a rare quality. I would consider myself authentic, but I wouldn’t have suspected that it was that uncommon.

@mikemcalister It's cool I agree. But how is this different to just reshaping the existing toolbar and making it larger and toggled by a shortcut? I'm in no way against this because I agree with the context switching issue I'm just curious what your take is on that?

@remkusdevries That's just how we've been raised! Getting to pick the "expensive" ice cream cone with a chocolate bottom was a special thing when I grew up.

It’s crazy how much my brain perceives the chocolate bottom of a cornetto ice cream as the reward.

FYI Composer repos can include an ‘info’ field in packages.json that displays messages to every developer on install/update. Any repo maintainer could use this to push ads, upsells, or whatever else directly into your terminal wp-composer.com will never do this

@polevaultweb Right. And it is important every developer knows this immediately and every time we run composer in our CLI/CI why? I've seen it ~10 times just today. I thought the narrative was that nothing was going to change with this shift in ownership..

Been having some fun running pi-autoresearch against our HPOS code to see if any performance improvements can be made. I need to review and test the code to see if everything is valid, but what an awesome way to iteratively improve performance 😁

@robbertvancaem @rootswp I'd find this interesting as well.. we also run a satispress but as a rule we keep almost all plugins disabled and we have put a Satis instance in front of it which makes it fast. However we do run a 1h TTL cache on it which can be annoying.
