Never ever take a Zoomcar. They ruined our trip and left us stranded. What happens when you rent a Zoomcar and the police seize it mid-highway? We had a ridiculous experience with @Zoomcar_India in Jaipur. Last Sunday, we booked a car in Jaipur to drive to Ranthambore. Number plate was masked on the app, so no idea what we were getting. We reached the car and it’s a Gujarat (GJ) white plate vehicle. I felt uncomfortable instantly, but it was too late to change the vehicle - this was the only 7 seater option available in the city. The owner reassured: “No issues. It’s been on Zoomcar for 4 months. Cops won't stop. Take my number if anyone stops you.” Within 45 minutes, we got stopped by the police. They seize the car, take the keys, park it in some random plot and ask us to call the owner. Owner proudly tells them that he’s been renting it out for months and never faced an issue. Police is adamant that this is illegal (and rightly so). The owner needs to visit the RTO and pay up. Any commercial vehicle playing for that long in RJ needs to pay Road Tax here + convert to yellow plate if used commercially. Road Tax alone would come to around Rs. 1.5 Lakhs. And then the cops just leave. So now we’re just standing there, at 38°C, in a random area off the highway. Owner doesn’t show up. Says it’s a Zoomcar problem and that he'll wait for their legal team to deal with this. Zoomcar support? Useless! “Err, It’s Sunday, our team will come tomorrow. And since your booking is still live, please don’t leave the spot; if any damage happens to the car, it’ll still be your responsibility.” Tomorrow??? And don't leave the spot??? We’re stuck in a live police situation and your solution is wait till tomorrow? We stood there for almost 2 hours before we could even figure out what to do next. Because of this: – Missed a ₹28,000 safari – Paid ₹12,000 extra for last-minute transport – Entire day gone After all this and 7 days of escalations, Zoomcar calls and says they’ll “refund the booking amount.” Think about this. No one would know the legalities of vehicle rules better than them. Yet, they listed this. And then abandoned us mid-crisis. And honestly - what if this happened at night, to a woman travelling alone? You hand over an illegal car and then disappear? I've been chasing Zoomcar for a week now. This divorce incident shocked me and many families. One of my friend’s elder brother got married 2 years ago. Both are working professionals. It was an arranged marriage by relatives. Relationship looked good, everything seemed normal. His wife went to office daily. Until one day, the guy checked her Google Maps timeline. He saw that after 3 PM, 3–4 times a week, she was going to a hotel. One day he followed her. He found she was going there with another man. The same man, regularly. Later, he paid a hotel employee 10,000 rupees to get the entry records and proof. With all proofs, he confronted his wife. That is quite right & my observation as well. As an avg. football player, I've been humbled by teams from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Manipur, Sikkim/Darjeeling while playing U-17s. The moment you turn an adult, all of those talents disappear from the professional stage. They melt away due to rotten politics of Indian sports or lack of nutrition/international standards of coaching or social responsibilities. It's my strong belief that, with all of these sorted, we can at least compete with Iran, Japan & South Korea if not Europe immediately.

U15 and U16 tournament ongoing concurrently. 5 U16 players are with the 18s, all but one international players. Best U15 is with the 18s. A significant number of U15 are up with the 16s who are through to the quarter finals of their tournament after brace scored by… U15 player. Not a good result here, no. But in the same way one spectacular win, trophy or even season doesn’t define an academy. Development is key. But moreover it’s not worth huge swinging reactions in the social media age from one bad result.

Of all the MVP candidates, his team had the worst winning percentage without him. Also, despite the media telling you not to believe your own eyes, we all know that he played great defense this season. All of the data reflects that. Now sadly, but somewhat poetically his season ends due to injury. He ran the race until the wheels fell off, as we all knew he would. He left his sweat, his tears, and his blood on the basketball court. So no, he won’t win the corrupt media’s MVP award that the fans no longer believe to be legitimate, but we all know the truth. Most men do not survive this kind of torture. After Jesus was severely flogged, He was forced to carry His cross while people mocked & spat on Him. Crucifixion was a process meant to instill excruciating pain, creating a slow & agonizing death. Nails as long as 8 inches were driven into Jesus' wrists & feet. The Roman soldiers knew the tendons in the wrists would tear & break, forcing Jesus to use His back muscles to support Himself to breathe. Imagine the struggle, the pain, the courage...Jesus endured this reality for 3 hours! The Gospel of John writes that after Jesus' death, a Roman soldier pierced His side with a spear & blood & water came out. Scientists explain that from hypovolemic shock, the rapid heart rate causes fluid to gather in the sack around the lungs & heart. The accumulation of fluid in the membrane around the heart is called a Pericardial effusion & the lungs is called a pleural effusion. To the world, Christianity is as foolish as it can get. They believe it's for the weak. But when you are confronted by the reality of the cross, it's clearly not a pretty sight. It is brutal & horrific. This is the weight Jesus carried. The weight of the sins of the world, all so that we can live. God's wrath is fully satisfied in Jesus. This is what it took. Repent & believe! Jesus is “God among us” in the flesh. Jesus is our Savior. Jesus loves you so much that He went through this spiritual and physical punishment for your sins and mine. Jesus is the LORD, Almighty God, Everlasting Father. Thank You, Jesus.

With Wemby likely being eligible for awards this season and Luka as well as others likely missing out here’s some food for thought. Wemby Total Minutes: 1,784 Luka Total Minutes: 2,289 The 65 game requirement is extremely flawed. Luka has basically played 16-17 more total GAMES than Wemby this season but could be penalized for not meeting threshold. It makes no sense.

Good Friday reminds us of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice. May this day further deepen the values of harmony, compassion and forgiveness. May brotherhood and hope guide us all.
