@AaronBastani I remember exactly this feeling the first time I walked down a street with our first child in a pushchair. There was just a different level of friendliness from people all around, be it motorists or pedestrians.

Spent an hour in Hamleys with the baby today & had more unprompted politeness & random smiles & conversations than in 15 years living in London! Children bring out the best in people. Even more than I realised. Nothing else quite underscores the interconnectedness of us all.

@jonfrewin Yes, it filled all the bars for me and for another friend. She entered before me but all Wednesday tickets were sold out, and I entered 5 mins after and tried with tickets for Thursday and got lucky

@KatySTorres Congratulations! Out of interest did the green bar fill up all the way? None of my group got past six bars, several stayed stuck on two.

@emiledonovan Agree with this and they’re all tongue twisters that they keep saying - it’s like horse racing commentators sped up.

Neither here nor there but man the Americans are just unbelievable at live broadcasting. Might be not much to say at this point but by god they’re gonna say the hell out of it. Very few stumbles, almost no ummms or uhhhs. Incredibly polished product everywhere

@jonfrewin @JohnKingCNN @FoxNews Easy - I am in New York! But I've watched Fox from the UK online before. They and CNN are very slick and much better than the rather dull alternatives. I also prefer US coverage of US elections.

Someone needs to do a supercut of CNN’s hosts saying “again, it’s very, very early…”

@jonfrewin Sure but it's useful to be constantly reminded not to get too excited. And anyway, @JohnKingCNN has astonishing command of his subject with an amazing memory for state and county numbers from 2020 for useful comparisons with now. @FoxNews are also excellent & objective tonight

And I’m not sure they should even be allowed to read out vote tallies when it’s only 3% of the vote that has been counted.

This is a really interesting question. I’ve tested it three times since I saw this earlier, and have scored 3, 5 and 1. Admittedly I do follow Elon Musk, but that seems a little much.
