BREAKING: Mystery group opens MASSIVE physical library in New York City containing all 3,400 volumes of the Epstein files as critics accuse DOJ of hiding the truth. While the Justice Department under new Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche continues to drag its feet on the Epstein Files Transparency Act, a group called the Institute for Primary Facts has taken matters into its own hands — and the result is as haunting as it is powerful. The group has opened a physical reading room in New York City, housing every page of the Epstein files across more than 3,400 volumes. Part public art installation, part functioning library, the space contains 17,000 pounds of evidence documenting the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein and his network of powerful enablers. MS Now contributor Lisa Rubin previewed the space and spoke with David Garrett, a businessman turned activist who serves as spokesperson for the group. His explanation for why they built it physically rather than digitally cuts right to the heart of why this library matters: "When you're looking at something digitally, whether it's on your phone or on your computer, that digital experience makes it very difficult to really understand the scale of what we're talking about. What we have here is really focused on the survivors and the victims. What we wanted to build was a way to honor the survivors and victims and surround them by 17,000 pounds of evidence of those crimes." Seventeen thousand pounds. Walk into that room and you feel the weight of what was done and what has been hidden. But here's the detail that tells you everything about where we still are: most visitors to the reading room won't be allowed to page through the documents. Not because the Institute is being secretive — but because the DOJ's redactions remain so inadequate that the files are still not safe to read without putting the survivors at risk. Even the people Epstein victimized cannot safely read the government's own files about their victimization at this point. The Justice Department has released millions of pages. Pam Bondi and her successor have called it exhaustive. Congressional investigators found a sealed suicide note the DOJ had never seen. Survivors issued a joint statement saying the burden of truth must fall on the powerful, not on them. And now a mysterious group with 3,400 volumes and 17,000 pounds of paper is doing more to honor that truth than the Department of Justice has managed in years. BREAKING: FIGHT! Fulton County strikes back against Trump's Justice Department by moving to block a request to hand over sensitive personal information of thousands of 2020 election workers. This is a five alarm fire... "Its purpose is to target, harass, and punish… election officials, poll workers, and volunteers," states a motion filed in federal court by the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections. The Board is requesting that an April 20th subpoena from the Justice Department demanding election workers' names, addressed, and phone numbers be "quashed." Those workers, all of them innocent, include everything from ballot reviewers to bus drivers and volunteers. These are people who have given of their time to make our democracy work and now they're being targeted by a lawless, convicted felon of a president. The rationale behind the subpoena is as transparent as it is disturbing. This is about Trump's false, debunked claim that the 2020 election was stolen. He wants to smear and terrorize these workers so that they're too terrified to oppose his lies. He may even intend on hitting them with sham prosecutions like has with other political enemies. This subpoena is a continuation of Trump's strategy to make Fulton the lynchpin of his 2020 claims. In January, the federal government raided the county's election offices, seizing sensitive election materials. The ultimate goal is still murky, but there is no benign explanation. It's possible, even likely, that this entire charade is about setting up a pretext to meddle in the 2026 mid-terms or 2028 presidential election. In their filing, the Fulton Board described the subpoena as the "latest effort to target and harass (President Donald Trump)’s perceived political enemies.” Furthermore, the subpoena threatens the workers' First Amendment Rights and "will chill their participation in elections." It also "unreasonably interferes with Georgia’s sovereign authority to administer elections.” Fulton County Commission Chairman Robb Pitt released a statement on the subpoena— "Today, Fulton County filed a motion to quash an improper subpoena seeking the names and personal information of election staff members who served in any capacity in the November 2020 General Election. After illegally seizing our election records in January, the federal government once again is attempting to misuse criminal process. This time, it is to demand the names, home addresses, personal emails, and personal telephone numbers of everyone who assisted with the 2020 General Election. This is yet another act of outrageous federal overreach designed to intimidate and to chill participation in elections. This harassment should not be allowed, so we have asked the Court to act. I will always stand up for our elections workers and for the truth. Let me be crystal clear. Fulton County will not be intimidated." Fulton County is standing strong and we stand with them!
