🚨BREAKING: Employment Rights Bill passes in the House of Lords and will become law. This is an historic day for working people across the country, and the trade unions who represent them. Some of the watershed measures this Bill delivers: ➡️ Banning exploitative zero hours contracts ➡️ Sick pay for all from day one ➡️ Expanding paternity, parental and bereavement leave ➡️ Strengthening protections for pregnant women, whistle-blowers and victims of sexual harassment ➡️ Making flexible working the default ➡️ Repealing Tory anti-union laws Unions and workers have long campaigned for these vital rights. Finally, working people will enjoy more security, better pay and dignity at work thanks to this Bill.

@DrBeachcombing Yes, I see that now... Horrible. I've been pitching a conference proposal for a couple of years about how, as a storyteller, one might rework changeling narratives to rehabilitate or honour historical victims, much as is often done with witches. One day I will take it further.
