Easy to home in on Fernandes, given two poor performances and how light #mufc are in midfield. He’s played brilliantly there countless times, including last season. The problem is pairing him with an ageing, once-great midfielder who came off yesterday before he was sent off.

Imagine starting pre season with pretty much the same squad minus one new player and also five players who you don't want anywhere near the club. it's embarrassing and a really bad situation. I fear for Rubén Amorim's job... it was evident what needed to be done but the club have thrown him under the bus again just like they did hiring him mid-season. I feel for him, he's a top man and a top coach but he's being set upto fail just like the other managers before him! Big problems! 🔴 #MUFC
