Matt Bloomfield has been sacked by Luton. I wonder if JJ will be on the phone to him 😂#readingfc

I wonder if Cohuig and co arent backing Hunt so when it goes pear shaped and they sack him theyll blame results as to why but Cohuig will back the next manager because Hunt isnt his long term option to take the club forward #readingfc

So now we have Coppell, McDermott, The Amazons, a new owner and a play-off decider to come in the next seven hours, followed by the greatest party the town has ever seen...I've had worse Bank Holiday weekends #readingfc

@CraigBPodcasts @PictonPedro 😂 true. I’ll not elaborate on why I said he was here, as it’s clearly incorrect. Other than I’m utterly confused

Amazing isn’t it.. under 10 days till we potentially become defunct and Rob Couhig jumps on more interviews; whilst sitting on the offer that he might take the time to take a look at over the weekend 😂 #ReadingFC

@jonnykyte @PictonPedro I can confirm this is incorrect as he was speaking to me from Louisiana at 5pm US time, 10pm UK time

Please help by signing…
Sell Before We Dai@SellBeforeWeDai

Sign the petition here: bit.ly/rfc-petition SBWD, @STARReading and @YuanfenYang, have launched a petition calling for a Parliamentary Inquiry into Dai Yongge and Dai Xiu Li, who must be held to account. Please go online and sign the petition (and ask others to do the same!). We’ll also have paper copies outside the ground tomorrow so come and find us outside the megastore, at STAR base and around the stadium. #readingfc

@james_e1871 The DoF at Wycombe wanted to replace him back in the summer, so despite him being a club legend and doing so well this season, the board were happy for him to go. His quote about feeling wanted at Luton is quite telling

Very strange to see Bloomfield opt to move to Luton. 'Mr Wycombe' has them sat in the top two and seemingly spending a fair bit in the window to give it a good go at challenging the expected promotion candidates- but still walk away. Very intriguing to see where they go from here

To get to 41 points already is a brilliant achievement. But the fact we’re having to think about getting to 50 or 62 points is a symptom of terrible ownership from two awful owners. To the football world, please don’t take your eye off us until we’re sold 🙏🏻 #readingfc

@ElmParkRoyals @Hammo76 @Houlton11 I don’t blame him. He had all the terms of the acquisition agreed and then got dicked about. Despite that, he still wants to buy us.

He’s a man who tried to buy our training ground and play the good guy and now he’s threatening to hold up any possible current deal that isn’t him. I don’t treat him the same as DY, he’s scum. Couhig is becoming an annoying presence who won’t let go and ultimately us fans lose out

The latest news from Couhig really doesn’t help us in anyway as it only potentially prolongs the process and stops the current group in exclusivity completing a deal. I don’t see this as a positive showing his conviction to buy us. More he’s annoyed and wants to prove a point to Dai. But no court action has actually happened so I’ll wait and see.

@TimDellor @RFCLatest Tim, if everyone but Dai had signed, then all the terms of the agreement must have been reached for signature copies to have been distributed. So Dai had agreed the terms then decided on a u-turn. You can understand why Couhig doesn’t want to give up on it

@RFCLatest So all agreed apart from with the guy who owns 98% of the club! Overhaul the club management but likes Ruben…. What’s that code for? Axe the academy, as the women’s section was axed? This is me irritated by Rob Couhig’s continued PR machine - not the always excellent @RFCLatest

💬 Rob Couhig has gone public on his failed takeover of #ReadingFC… here are some of the key quotes/points: • Would still like to do the deal agreed. • [Documents] had been signed by every party, including the minority owners in Thailand, apart from Dai Yongge. • “Some people on the inside [the club] could see there would be substantial change [article claims they were ‘spooked’]. It’s a great club, with lots of good people, and we like the team and Ruben, but it needs a managerial overhaul.” • “I haven’t released the liens because the loans I made were integral to the sales process.”

@CazParker1871 Exactly this. Couhig’s nda will most likely prevent him from publicly disclosing the reasons it broke down. But that story coming out today is BS. It’s on Dai, this is someone trying to discredit Couhig and deflect.

@rustyLDN guess that it would likely breath the NDA Couhig signed. I've heard something that i've yet to see reported elsewhere, that it's something to do with gambling debt Dai has, and more specifically, who it's owed to. A hurdle any future buyer would also reach but struggle to fix
