I really hate how when a team loses we relitigate everything. The Wolves gave up a bunch of picks for Rudy and he had a bad Game 6 against a better team. They traded KAT because of the CBA for Randle and he had a bad series. They made two WCFs and got to the second round, for a team that has been a historical joke since KG in 2004, TWENTY years ago. They built a good team, they couldn't get it to put it together. It doesn't mean it wasn't worth it.

If the Wolves want to win a title, Julius Randle can’t be on the team. That’s the first item that needs to be addressed this summer.

@jzulgad They were out of gas and decimated. They lost in 6 to what may be the future champs. Julius obviously needs to go, and they need Ja or Kyrie. Is what it is. Losing Dante is a big bummer. Good player, great trade chip gone.

The level that the Wolves have been checked out in this game raises serious questions about this team and its coaching staff. This is apathy at its finest -- in a playoff game that will end their season. A long list of no-shows leaves a ton of questions.

This season is really trending towards being a waste. Running it back was doomed from the beginning, zero development or tangible growth from within, other than Shannon breaking through by pure necessity. No clue what they can or should do here. They are just a cut below.

Timberwolves free throws was only 57% No Ayo. No Dante Ant only played 16-18Mins Spurs have no rebounding Wemby is not strong enough to lobby for positioning. He doesn’t have enough offensive moves at this point in his career (he will later) Fox was ass McDaniels was in foul trouble 4-5 uncalled goaltending.

At the end of the day, let's be clear about why the Spurs lost this game. It wasn't because of the refs, and it wasn't because of Ant. It was because they couldn't hit wide-open shots. Minnesota's defense poses plenty of problems, but the Spurs got great looks in this game. If Wemby hits 2 of those 8 mostly WIDE OPEN threes and Fox hits 1 of the four he missed, it's a Spurs win by 7. There's zero reason to panic and every reason to be emboldened. It was one of the worst offensive games we've seen from Wemby and Fox together, and they lost by 2. Sucks to lose at home, but this is the fun of the postseason! Ignore the Wolves fans. They don't know any better.

The assumption that the Timberwolves will force the Spurs series into 6 or 7 games is largely based on the overrating of Denver this year. You keep hearing about how they HAVE to be given more respect because “they just beat the Nuggets without Ant.” I consider that more of an indictment on Denver than an indication that Minnesota has elevated. You’ll see what I mean soon enough.
