@calstanvard They aren’t cattle being traded, they want to play hockey for their country. It’s prestigious and exciting to go to a different country with thousands of athletes. The league only cares for financial reasons. If you actually care about watching great hockey, the olympics is it.

I'm just fucking disgusted by the Fiala injury. I feel really bad for him. I'm not watching any more Olympics hockey bullshit until the gold medal game. What a shit show to stop the season only to see pro athletes play in an event created over a century ago for amateurs.
