Only a small fraction actually matter. @subquadratic finds and focuses only on the ones that do. That's nearly 1,000x less compute and a new way for LLMs to scale.

being completely honest, never really thought of the broad view of different bottlenecks in industries until quite recently, and its clear that capital is often both considered a bottleneck at times, but also considered "free in abundance" at times.
@bhorowitz puts the whole journey of a16z super well. sometimes what works, isnt always well taken to by others. start small and build up. aiming to build and address all possible issues probably isn't gonna work out.
people can only give you "them" advice. they can tell you what or what didnt work for them, but they cannot tell you what will or will not work for you. remember this.
culture, culture, culture. its not just the values of the company or what they say they do - its actually about the actions of the people. that builds the culture. start without a culture, good luck to you in terms of setting a standard moving forward.
