If that shockwave emplies moving on from Jon Cooper, Sunny Metha should be all over that.
That and a blockbuster trade would be the culture changing moves this franchise desperately needs, just like what the Florida did with Paul Maurice & Matthew Tkachuk in 2022.

This is a really bad look for Francisco Alvarez. McLean shook him off five times before he was forced to throw a middle-middle fastball to Schanuel just to avoid a pitch clock violation.

No foward on the Devils is doing what Doan did, except for 1 or 2 guys (Timo being one). Certainly none of the core guys are headed to the corner with 2 guys to get wrecked, and that’s the problem with the NJ Devils.

He’s above average defensively, a very good 2C but that’s not $10 mil worthy and there are forwards with similar impacts who are on an 8-8.5 million dollar deal for a few years

I don’t understand why everyone always raves about the Bell Centre and the atmosphere. People in Montreal don’t yell louder than fans in any other hockey city. And the building isn’t even historic. It was built in the 90s lol.
