Actually, one of the original arguments for minimum wage laws was to price low skill, low productivity, and often minority workers out of the labor market. You can't make a worker worth $20 an hour by passing a law. You can only make it illegal to hire workers who produce less than $20 an hour. The people most harmed are usually those with the fewest skills, least experience, and greatest need for a first opportunity.

On this Summer Solstice of 2026, the six greatest threats to liberty and prosperity in the United States of America are as follows, ranked in order from most threatening to least (less) threatening: 1.
