IMG Academy, one of the top high schools in the country known for its talented CFB recruits, has been fined $1.7 million by the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control for links to Mexican drug cartels. For over five years, IMG allegedly worked with two people from the cartel. 😬

Wednesday evening and the hours that have passed since have been low-spirited. That evening, one of our current players lost his father, Travis Wilson. Our past had lots of overlap in lots of ways. I was often jealous of him because of how good he was and how far he was able to go on the football journey compared to me. We joked a couple years ago when Jax arrived at MSU about how we made many of the same mistakes but how we ended up in the same spot… Dads with few hobbies who live for their kids and work tirelessly for their family!! We were the same age! I was in shock trying to find the words to console his son, a player I am responsible for. I am so sad for Candace, Jax, and the twins. Travis was a true SPARTAN DAWG! ⚔️
