@joshaledgard Same. I like the product but right now it’s an absolute mess. Too much noise, very little signal.

The worst part is the fireworks won’t stop until Saturday.

It’s super impressive to watch @randfish and @caseyhen execute on their vision of @sparktoro. Not only their vision of the product, but of how they wanted to operate their company. They didn’t raise venture capital and opted instead to raise a small round from 35 investors (I’m one of them) whom they have just paid back in full. Future returns are expected to come through dividends. Profit, what a novel idea for a startup. And FWIW, their investment terms served as the basis for how we invest via @tinyseedfund. Two options, I suppose. 1) Deny AI is going to impact your career 2) Dive in and learn everything you possibly can about what AI products are out there than can help you gain an edge over your competitors

@scottw Seems about right. Especially if they are trying to also move off of dependancies to save $$

My money says this has nothing to do with data scraping. I would bet too many of those responsible for ensuring the site ran smoothly have left (or were shown the door). Good luck to the team that is still there and trying to make it stable.

Loom’s AI-generated video titles are nice. I can say something like “this shit is hella broken. What did you do??” and the video gets named “Let’s fix this! 🙂”

Being a toddler parent means having Contacts in your phone like “Henry Park Dad” and “Sophie Mom Blonde”
