communism isnt possible in one country your statement makes no sense. assuming you meant a state-capitalist planned economy like, ok? that's not my goal
good let the ruling classes tremble at the communistic revolution

@redf0undation btw, what would you rec regarding marx, for a guy who just skim-read the Manifesto?
English

them: “I don’t need to read Marx! I understand capitalism through my lived experience!”
also them:

English

Lenin was a traitor to the revolution who centralized control of the burgeoning worker's commonwealth under his cadre of bureaucrats. Lenin bad. Very bad.
Nick ☭ 🌱@redf0undation
Lenin good

@InfraHaz Or, communism is so unbelievably stupid and supported by only the most committed retards

Americans have long been ready for a revolution. They have no ideological issue with extreme radical change.
The reason this doesn’t get reflected in polls or in elections is because building an alternative to Democrats & Republicans is a full-time job and requires immense resources. Most Americans already have jobs and are broke.
The moral responsibility falls on dissident influencers with spare time and resources who can dedicate themselves full-time to organizing the masses.
Stop blaming the people for the way they vote. They don’t have any real choices. The moment they’re presented with a radical alternative, and are instilled with the self-confidence they can win, they take it 100% of the time.
No, there isn’t “a lot of work to do” to “push the masses left.”
They’re ready and have been ready. It’s the leftists who have been failing them.
English

@bartok_mlm @NiaFrome exactly.. This perosn isn’t a communist they just want to share items with everyone
English

@NiaFrome The point of private property is that you can make people work it for you: A factory is private property because you make workers use it to create values for you. You can't make someone work your toothbrush to create values. If we blur that distinction then we can't change things
English

@RodericDay in present-day terms, you're leasing your toothbrush from the community. if somebody else needs one (because the community hasn't provided one for them), then they may as well take yours. better we endorse this principle than the opposite, that no one can haz.
English

@NiaFrome @WriteToRebel you literally have no idea what you are talking about dude
English

@WriteToRebel ppl say they want to abolish private property, but then caveat that by saying you'll get to keep your private toothbrush, your private car, your private home, your private xbox, etc. it's a blinkered suburban vision of communism that maintains the public/private dichotomy.

@VenturCommunist @stendhalist exactly people think marx was some sort of all knowing god who could predict the future. Dude was working with what he had
English

@joshgramsci @Comrade__Haider The survival of proletarians is tied to the labor that they do. Modern capitalism is global and in most of the world agricultural peasants are not a body to form a politically conscious constituency for any sort of radical movement
English

Peasants as a class fundamentally no longer exist
Red Redford📕🇵🇸@RedFrontTweeter
@Kuhle_Wampe What do you call countries with mostly peasant populations?
English

@MarxoidNess @Comrade__Haider I can see that. They still exist as a mass of people but their changing global position has definitely affected their ability to wage a class war
English

@MarxoidNess @Comrade__Haider over a billion peasants are alive today
English

@Comrade__Haider Do they live on land owned by a lord on behalf of a monarch? Being a tenet farmer isn't the same thing as being a peasant dawg
English

@Thomas23353301 @hmcleaver You’re a liar. You’re making a fool out of yourself. 62% industrial workers by 1905, higher than Mensheviks, with large influxes of radicalized workers joining in 1917 for the revolution. please study history or STFU
English

@joshgramsci @hmcleaver The workers themselves joined social democrat parties or anarchosyndicalist unions. Mostly bourgouisie intellectuals joined the bolsheviks.
English

Utter bullshit! From the 1930s thru the 1960s, workers won more concessions from Western capitalists than they did in Marxist-Leninist state-capitalist regimes. The latter only began to conceed serious improvements in living conditions after Stalin in response to protests.
Plebejer 🕊️@realPlebejer
English

@Ravioli_IsTaken it amazes me how idiotic some of you are on here. I guess that happens when the site is full of 15 year olds
English

@Thomas23353301 @hmcleaver There’s no point in me engaging with someone who believes in an alternate version of history perpetuated by the western elite. I wish you well
