@CauldronDan83 @Genetics56 UW-Madison was one of the only profitable athletic departments in the country. Football drives the majority of revenue. If you don’t have football, you simply cannot fund any of the other sports that bring in ZERO dollars.

Wisconsin football - a school that has not invested in football. Folks may wonder, why did Wisconsin go from winning conference titles under Bret Bielema to facing a potential 2 win season in 2025. The answer is rather easy. They are not a well funded football program. I used the Knights database and extracted the percentage increase in football spend for the 14 Big Ten schools (the 4 Pac-12 schools are not included in this post). Wisconsin is the least funded football program in the Big Ten from an increase in football spend perspective from 2005 to 2024 reporting cycles. The lack of care to have a well funded football program has come back to haunt the university. You can go all the way back to when Bret Bielema was the head coach at Wisconsin and there were problems of under funding - coaches would leave because they would get paid more elsewhere, and Bret left because he couldn't keep coaches. Fast forward to today and you have Wisconsin as a bottom tier football program in the Big Ten. If that hurts your feelings reading it and want to lash out in a comment about it, feel free to do so but the anger should be towards the leadership at the university for allowing this to happen. In today's world of college football, a football program that is nto well funded is not going to win many games.

The President is attacking me because I filed Articles of Impeachment, asking “What the hell did I do?” It's all in my seven articles of impeachment: 1. Defying a 9-0 Supreme Court ruling. 2. Dismantling federal agencies. 3. Imposing damaging tariffs. 4. Violating First Amendment rights. 5. Creating an unlawful office. 6. Dismissing criminal cases of donors. 7. No, it doesn’t. It just keeps people buying the foreign products which is still cheaper, but at a slightly more expensive rate eroding the power of the American dollar American companies as history shows simply scale up their pricing to match the tariff in an effort to create the illusion of American luxury or quality .

They aren’t tariffs “on Canada and Mexico and China” they’re tariffs on goods from those countries which are paid by you, the US consumer, not anyone from any of those countries. Congratulations on voting to make everything more expensive for absolutely no reason.
