Just wondering did FSD park the car or did you manually park? I think FSD will retain the data if you selected the stall and told it to park there. There is a big issue when people engage and disengage
FSD (I had my car refuse to move yesterday because the curb was to close to the front bumper after I manually parked it)

First-time @Tesla owner. Day 4. #FSD just crashed my car into a concrete pillar. 🤦♂️ I was supervising, but there was zero time to react. We need MUCH clearer warnings about FSD parking limitations before handing over the keys. Really disappointed. @TeslaSupport @elonmusk #Tesla

@wholemars My concern has increased as more and more people rely on Ai to make choices for them. It’s just going to become a digital pin ball machine.

the stock market often shits its pants. such is the nature of the stock market.
It has happened many times throughout history. there was the great depression, the 2008 financial crisis… these are just small ripples compared to those waves
being surprised when the market corrects is like going to a seafood restaurant and being surprised that they’re mostly serving fish
some investors are panicking and flailing. it never occurred to them that the market could go down rather than up. Many of them will be convinced to sell everything they own dirt cheap out of fear. these people are the emotional speculators
Other investors are calm and collected. They considered the possibility of a pullback and planned for it in advance. They kept cash ready for a moment like this. And they will acquire shares at a great price, such that the next time there is a correction their cost basis will still be less than the new lower price.
so why play the beautiful game of buying and selling companies? because if done right, the gains can change your life. Yes, there’s always the possibility of a crash that prevents you from getting your capital out when you need it, but thats the risk you take. That’s the risk you are compensated for with your future gains. And it’s a job I’m happy to be paid for.
These are the times that separate the men from the boys. The women from the girls. The people who have no clue what they’re doing are freaking out, tweeting like chickens with their heads cut off. And the people who know how to navigate moments like this are calm, listening, waiting, learning.
You can learn a lot about someone based on what group they fall in.

@wholemars We should also slow down getting a moon base…. And launching reusable rockets…. I guess if you want equity! 🤦🏻♂️

@betastuff1999 @wholemars You are the one making the claim. The burden of evidence is on you. What is your evidence? Please don’t cite “The View” as your source.

@wholemars Zero. Following Buffett's rules of looking how good the management is, having a CEO that denies the deaths he has caused shutting down USAID, not to mention calling Chef Jose an asshole is disqualifying. Musk has lost the plot and it will get worse.

@WaitWhat At least it isn’t winter. My car took me to a charger on FSD arriving with -1%.
English

@WaitWhat Just had my car pull off the freeway drive right up to the supercharger and keep going then turn to get back on the freeway…. Some glitchy stuff…. I bet it’s one of Open AI’s bots trying to hack in.

@SawyerMerritt @Tesla Typical French arrogance they will pay for his pride with lives.

France Minister of Transportation on @Tesla's FSD in new video:
"The safety trade-offs are not yet sufficient to authorize it as it currently stands. All the more so since this system is not a self-driving system; So what are our concerns? Without going into overly technical detail, there are several.
First example: we've found that the system allows for speeding. Another example: according to the data we have, the system doesn't guarantee an optimal level of driver attention in urban settings and during the most complex maneuvers, such as lane changes, intersections, or roundabouts.
So what are the next steps? We're currently continuing our technical discussions with the Netherlands, other European states, and Tesla to refine our analysis. Last week, a representative from the Ministry of Transport's services traveled to the Netherlands.
I want to emphasize this: France supports these technologies, and their deployment must happen within a framework of trust that allows us to evaluate the systems and determine what adjustments FSD needs to guarantee a high level of safety.
This autumn, I will also be bringing together the French autonomous vehicle ecosystem to present the levers that will accelerate the deployment of this technology and to set a direction for the coming years.
In France, we're fortunate to have world-class automakers and automotive suppliers, as well as some of the best engineers in the world in artificial intelligence and digital technology. We have real cards to play, and we're ready to play them — but never at the expense of safety on our roads."

@muskonomy I would love to see any data that proves that adds any type of safety.

NEWS: A New Jersey bill would require autonomous vehicles to use cameras plus two more sensor types, which could shut Tesla robotaxis out of the state.
State Senator Andrew Zwicker, a Democrat, is behind the bill.
The likely required sensors are lidar and radar.
Tesla runs its self driving system on cameras only.
"This is not anti-Tesla. I'm pro New Jersey safety," Zwicker said.
He said he is not convinced cameras and software alone match human judgment.
Nearly every other robotaxi developer already uses lidar and radar.
Uber urged the state to keep requiring human drivers for most rides.
The bill has not passed and would still need to clear the legislature.

@SawyerMerritt You can’t police space! Next we will need an impact report filed before we can land on the moon again. BS
English

@SawyerMerritt @Tesla They say…. Even without any data supporting “other sensors” Tesla could just add a diode and call it a sensor. What a pathetic, targeted, politically motivated shill. Take a pole let the people you claim to represent decide what’s best. #nokings 😂🤣
English

New Jersey Democratic state Senator Andrew Zwicker on a new bill requiring cameras plus two additional sensors (likely LiDAR & radar) for autonomous vehicles, which would effectively ban @Tesla robotaxis in the state if passed:
"This is not anti-Tesla. I'm pro-New Jersey safety; At this point, I don't think the evidence is sufficient that a single sensor with software can handle situations that humans can," Zwicker said.
Also, Uber argued that the state should continue requiring human drivers for most rides, a very anti-autonomous vehicle stance, despite the fact that data shows humans are worse drivers than autonomous vehicles....

@wholemars He should be force to only use things from communist country’s. No capitalism at all. No more name brands no more “feeding” the “greed”. He wouldn’t last a week.

We are able to provide free and subsidized food to every child in this country because of those “oligarchs”.
Mamdani on the other hand has not contributed to feeding anybody. He is a taker, not a maker. A looter, not a producer.
Fox News@FoxNews
JUST IN: NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani used America’s 250th anniversary to sharply criticize the country, accusing the U.S. of allowing children to go hungry while billionaires and “oligarchs” gain more power. He said America’s wealth was built by working people with “calloused, dirt-streaked hands" while accusing the country of allowing the wealth built by workers to be concentrated in “the soft hands of a precious few.”

@Mark41825515557 @SawyerMerritt I don’t want a van. I want a Escalade, Suburban, GMC Yukon Ford Exposition, Jeep Grand Wagoneer ….. made by @Tesla
English

@joshtjohnston @SawyerMerritt Your kids will be in college by the time Tesla manufactures a cool, practical minivan experience.
English

A total of 375,000 new minivans were sold in the U.S. in 2025. Americans bought nearly 9 million SUVs. Minivans are no doubt the most practical family vehicle you can buy, but most people want SUVs.
A true full-size 3-row SUV makes more financial sense for Tesla to sell than a minivan.
Matt Brezina 🌳 🌊@brezina
Why won’t Tesla just make a dang minivan! Sliding passenger doors, adult-sized rear seats, TRUE fold-flat rear seats. They are truly the best suburban family vehicle. I want a FSD van. Ideally gasoline hybrid electric. Who is building this?
English

@SawyerMerritt How would this work for legacy cars that have out right FSD purchases vs subscription?
English

Cool, sounds like Tesla will soon use the interior cabin camera to perform driver identity verification before allowing FSD to activate.
“If the system cannot confirm the driver matches the authorized profile, it can block FSD and show a failure message in the app.”
