@joecarlsonshow Burry called this guy the next Warren Buffett. How bad is Burry at judging character and is Burry genuinely a 1 hit wonder. Every prediction he makes is wrong he's not even got 50% accuracy

I usually agree with Shkreli on most subjects. But this is a terrible take.
CNBC's line of questioning was extremely straightforward and fair.
They did not ask loaded questions.
They did not try to ask any "gotcha" questions.
They did not accuse him or mock him in any way.
CNBC acted exactly how a journalistic entity should when interviewing a CEO.
They simply gave him an opportunity to explain the transaction and he acted like a petulant child.

everyone should treat CNBC like this

@jimcramer When Ur time horizon is 30+ years (which it is for all the newer younger investors) you will pile into the S and P 500 at any valuation

I know Warren Buffett says that we have never had people in a more gambling mood than now, but i think that is not necessarily the case. We are addicted to S&P 500 buying no matter what. We have been taught to love ETFs no matter what kind. If individual stock investing hadn't been so denigrated it would be less of a casino

@DudeWhoInvests He's talking about software stocks like $ADBE ofc

I recently bought another $5,000 of Duolingo.
By now almost everyone hates this stock, even most of the people in my own community hate it.
Peter Lynch’s favorite stocks were ones that were fast growing, had a long runway of growth, easy to understand, not loved by Wall Street yet, and strong balance sheet.
Duolingo isn’t a perfect fit, but I think that it’s much closer than most of the mega cap tech companies. And if Duolingo management is successful in their goal of growing users by over 20% this stock can compound a lot.
There is of course still a big chance this one dives further down as the market hates these types of companies right now. But I have time to let the story play out.

Heavily considering selling the $SHOP watcher position and buying $APP with it
The growth + margin profile at *just* 40x earnings is kind of ridiculous...
