For proper context - their “almighty” Bola Tinubu scored 572,606 in the last Presidential Election in the whole of Lagos. The reason they are manufacturing these fake numbers from their primaries will become evident in 2027, I hope the opposition parties are seeing the pattern are very ready!

I hope direct primaries have come to stay. What many of us do not realize is that even delegates are supposed to emerge through party members voting (direct primaries) but some people just write names of delegates. What we should all be working on is how to improve the process.

Before 2031, the National Assembly will amend the electoral laws and remove the direct primaries process in political party elections. There have been too many shockers. Lots of heavyweights have fallen. Nigerian politicians will never let the same fire burn them twice.
