I did it! 27miles and a billion steep hills. All for @BasingstokePmi It was so hot with multiple people going off in ambulances for heatstroke and injuries, but such fun and a great medal. Thank you so much for your support- it means everything. #chooselife

Our dept and hosp is fab. New 8 theatres and 22 bed ICU actually being built. Consistently rated as one of best places by trainees. Fantastic connections: 1hr 40mins to London 1hr Bristol 1.10hr Cornwall 40mins Jurassic Coast Doorstep: Stunning Quantocks, Blackdowns & Exmoor

Looking dreadful but feeling better. Had lunch but even more excitingly I had a 💩! Very weird not having the stoma anymore, keep thinking I need to empty it🤦 Am sore and tired but looking forward to going home soon 🤞

What a difference a year makes. This time last year I had just come out of the other side of major surgery at @BasingstokePmi. 7 months of chemo and a lot of recovery, I am back at work part time and looking forward to Christmas at home. Thank you NHS💙
