@Onedrive with 1TB storage would seem like a good general purpose cloud storage. But it is useless beyond dumb file store. No good interface for photos backed up there, not even simple text files with non-ascii (devanagari) chars display in the app! 😠

it would be cool if twitter did a netflix challenge where researchers could compete for a $1m prize to beat Twitter's own algo on spam detection; @elonmusk should do this if he does the takeover to win the hearts and minds of developers again

@sankam I don't know. That's why they are limiting how it can be used. Not sure if the training data is randomized or user controlled. Imagine someone getting hold of your public audio and using it to create your voice profile and use it for authentication...

This is it #TechTwitter. This is the tip. Not tutorials. Make a thing. Register the domain, get the cert, get an A on securityheaders, submit it to a store, fix SEO, add opengraph, features, make a PWA. Run a site 24/7. This is how I know stuff. Run real sites and scale them

Wise words from @shanselman for junior devs (really devs of any level), if you want to force yourself to learn a bunch of tech all at once, go host and maintain a public website/web application. The amount of crap you will encounter is insane.

@simonw Tried this, works great! One issue I found is that if the CSS selector is used and the container is taller than the viewport, it seems to cut it.
