Every girl denied a dream should remember : a woman from Kolhapur now leads Chanel. This small-town girl from Kolhapur, India... became the CEO of Chanel, a $60 billion luxury giant. Meet Leena Nair, the Indian woman changing global luxury. Her father set one condition : “I’ll pay for your studies, but you must marry by 23.” She agreed, but dreamed bigger than what society expected. She earned an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur - as a gold medalist. She Joined Unilever in 1992 as a management trainee. For 20+ years, She broke every barrier. In 2016, she became the first woman, first Asian, and youngest-ever CHRO of Unilever. Led 160,000 employees across 190 countries, she championed women in leadership. In 2022, history was made - she became the Global CEO of Chanel. Chanel now generates nearly $20 billion in annual revenue. Under her leadership, 60% of managers are women. Chanel invests $100M+ each year to uplift women worldwide. Leena Nair’s journey from Kolhapur to Chanel is proof : No dream is too big for an Indian girl. Leena Nair didn't just break the glass ceiling, she turned it into a doorway for millions of women 🔥 Women In Leadership | Women Empowerment |Women in Business | Girl Power | Inspiring Stories

RIP, @om . Always curious, open to discussing ideas, but fearless to question what didn't make sense. A big loss. 🙏
True Ventures@trueventures

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of Om Malik’s passing. It’s difficult to state the impact that @om had on all of our lives at True. Om was the first Founder we funded when we started True. In our Presidio office, Om discussed his idea for a new type of media company. That idea would later become GigaOm. Om was a brilliant Founder, an amazing teammate and Partner at True, a prolific writer, a gifted photographer, and a sage and valuable advisor to so many in the technology ecosystem. Om was brilliant, thoughtful, humorous, profoundly kind, and deeply curious. He was also relentless when he had an idea or story. Om was brave - he never shied away from sharing his views or pushing for the truth. We were very, very lucky to call Om our Partner and friend at True for these last many years. For today, we simply encourage you to take a moment to remember this beautiful soul and great thinker who was in our midst. He would ask us to slow down a bit. Om would want us to think deeper, express our love for one another a lot more. Above all else, Om wanted us all to retain our humanity and care for each other in our brilliant quest to rebuild the world. We love you Om. Team True om.co/2026/06/24/196…

🇺🇸🚀 SOME NEWS: I'll be leaving my role at the White House at the end of this month. After a break I’ll be working on helping tackle some of the large challenges facing America on AI (more on that later). It is hard to express how big a privilege it has been to serve the American people and how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to do so. First and foremost, it has been an honor to serve under President @realDonaldTrump . Without his leadership, we would not be leading in the AI race. Second, I owe a lot to the person I’ve worked mostly closely with over the last 18 months - @DavidSacks . His continuing advocacy for America winning on AI has been and continues to be crucial. Some key public accomplishments from last year I’m proud of 1. Architecting and publishing the American AI Action Plan - charting the course for America to win on AI and helping execute on that for the last year. 2. The AI acceleration partnerships to help American AI stack win globally. 3. The National AI Policy Framework for Artificial Intelligence executive order (forming the basis for working with the Hill this year) 4. Advocating for the American AI stack with our allies globally (the AI summits in France and India, state visits to the UK, the Middle East and more) So what’s next? The past 18 months have given me a front row seat to this critical moment on AI facing America and our allies. Whether it is energy, data centers or a clear path for Americans to experience the benefits of AI, there are many tough issues we all need to navigate together. I plan on building institutions that help tackle some of those challenges for America and its allies. I want to thank many others who have helped along the way in the administration : Kevin Hassett, @mkratsios47 , CoS @SusieWiles47 , VP @JDVance , @StevenCheung47 , Sec Bessent, Sec Lutnick, Sec Rubio and @jacobhelberg , @USWREMichael , Josh Gruenbaum, Watson Fagan, Ryan Baasch, Jeff Kessler, Alexei Bulazel, DepSec Landau, DepSec Dabar, Will Scharf, Taylor Budowich, @JamesBlairUSA , @elonmusk and many, many others. You know who you are and I know I’ll continue to see you a lot more. Most of all, I want to thank @aarthir on supporting everything and being part of this unexpected but amazing journey from last January. None of this would be possible without her. This journey has been the privilege of a lifetime and shown me how special this country is and how it needs all of us to contribute in anyway we can - and I plan on continuing to do just that. 🇺🇸

💯 Frontier game is challenging and costlier with every passing day. Next lab, must deliver 1Tn+ parameter model. Next, you know Elon’s 10Tn parameter model getting trained in space, will show up ! Rest I am sure many of us got many of these retained / re-weighted models. India’s complex legal system deserves a model and consumer app ! IMHO, an Indus historical knowledge expansion and extension like this is also worth pursuing:

Bill Gurley: Anthropic Thinks It’s Building God @Jason: It is the ultimate level of narcissism and delusion of grandeur to think you can create God. @bgurley: “Anthropic is a mystery to me. I've never, ever seen a company that is both leading their field and the most negatively outspoken commenter on what they do. And my initial theory was the regulatory capture theory. Quite frankly, I think they're very close to achieving that. But then they just got so loud that I've literally, in the past 30 days, read everything I can about Anthropic, and I've come up with a new theory. I call it the Dr. Frankenstein theory. The more I dig, I've met people who, I dare say, think it's their responsibility, and they're excited about, building a species that's superior to humans. Dario wrote this blog post called ‘Machines of Loving Grace.’ It was based on a poem. The last stanza of the poem says, ‘I like to think of a cybernetic ecology where we are free of our labors, and joined back to nature, returned to our mammal brothers and sisters, and all watched over by machines of loving grace.’ Sounds like an overlord to me. And then in Dario's post, he says, ‘It could be a capitalist economy of AI systems which then give out resources to humans based on some secondary economy of what the AI systems think makes sense to reward in humans…’ So I don't think they think they're writing software. I think they're midwifing a deity here.” Jason: “These are delusions of grandeur. Let's call it what it is. They believe that they're so powerful, these individuals, that they can create God, and that by creating God, they are like this Prometheus kind of species. It literally is the ultimate level of narcissism and delusion of grandeur to think you can create God.”

Afternoon flights are like therapy. It’s Monday noon, the most odd time to fly, it’s a time when people free from the chains of a day-job fly. The demography is interesting. Everything is slow. You have potbellied businessmen who keep the phone in their shirt pocket, inquiring with their shop boy, whether “Truck unloading ho gaya kya”. Two middle aged women whispering about the black money one of their cousins earn. The pitch goes even lower when they talk numbers. “Sune hai 25L ka necklace mila hai” Then there are the perfectly healthy geriatrics who are abusing the wheelchair service, needlessly harsh at the emaciated porters wheeling them past the security check. A nuclear family with an unruly crying kid, whose screams are echoed by the tall ceilings, and husband while doing nothing, critically appraising the parental skills of the mother. Long rows of empty seats, there is no urgency, Uncles have arrived 3 hours before the boarding time for their flight to Jaipur. Dressed like they are already at the wedding. Full sleeved shirts neatly tucked in. Boarding pass jutting out of their front pocket. Anxiously looking for a charging point. Sunlight is pouring in, a solitary sparrow is bathing in it, the businessman guy has dozed off. The boarding time is still 2 hours away. Bliss.
