Yesterday, I canvassed for Dave Sundberg, Democratic candidate for Congress in Maryland's 5th District. As head of FBI's Washington Field Office, he led probes of Jan. 6 and Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election. Trump ousted Dave because he refused to carry out Trump's corrupt agenda.

The 2026 elections aren’t just a partisan battle. They are an active test on the strength of our nation’s Constitution. The battle in Virginia and across the entire country isn’t over; it’s just getting started. Starting next week, I will be posting about candidates of all backgrounds running to protect our fundamental rights and the rule of law, and to combat the corruption that has become embedded in the Trump regime. From former federal prosecutors to human rights advocates fighting to maintain our justice system to frontline leaders taking on corruption, these are the people we need to watch and lend our support. True accountability requires leaders who treat our Constitution and democratic checks and balances as real rules, not something to be sold to the highest bidder. The first leader I will highlight is @DaveSundbe33120, the former head of the FBI Washington Field Office, who, like me, is fighting to finish the job by holding Trump accountable.

For those tracking how compromised and unserious DOJ has become: Todd Blanche is now filing legal briefs about Trump’s corrupt White House ballroom that read like 3am Trump social media posts and absurdly claim it’s a national security issue. Blanche must be confused--the ballroom with the national security issue was the publicly accessible one at Mar-a-Lago where Trump stored Top Secret documents he stole. Blanche was Trump's personal defense attorney in that case, too.
