Another nice dev friendly update from @NotionHQ I'm just hoping it'll work in reverse (could we reverse-engineer an existing Notion teamspace into Typescript too)? I guess Claude could do it via the MCP?

These changes to Shopify blocks in liquid sound spot on 👏 V. happy to finally see Tailwind support added to Liquid themes too! We've been using it for our themes for a while ... kinda saw it coming as Shopify are a Tailwind sponsor ;)

If you CAN'T make it to DotDev and/or Brightwork, what do you actually want to see about the conference? Recording with @kmeister2000 and we're fortunate enough for Shopify to have a space for us to record for the @LiquidWeekly Podcast but we'll do some walking around and stuff too. I don't know that we'd manage to "go live" but it's a thought too... And yeah haha this is an AI generated image. #goals for me to get down to the weight in this image

@TRPage_dev @kmeister2000 @LiquidWeekly The general vibes / atmosphere / sense of how it feels to be there and the scale of it. Maybe a mix of people who have been to lots of these sorts of events before Vs those attending for the very first time to see what different perceptions of the events are.

Looks like discount combinations have had a bit of an upgrade on Shopify (Shopify Plus only) 'Amount off product' discounts now support combining multiple discounts on the same line item, based on discount tag It was mentioned in Shopify Editions, but I've only just noticed it

I'd really appreciate it if Shopify stopped changing the layout and style of our customer account sections without any action from us. We should be able to preview and apply changes ourselves, not have them imposed on us. A few weeks back they broke colours. Now layout. Not cool.

.... and it looks like Shopify may be back Meanwhile, they've sort-of acknowledged it on shopifystatus.com but its really downplayed given it says "Some merchants may experience issues" As I say, 6 out of 7 of our Shopify Plus stores were completely down, front-end & admin - affecting shoppers not just merchants. I'd really like to see Shopify acknowledge these things quicker, and more honestly / reflecting what we are all seeing, not downplaying things.

I'm just speculating here because both have spikes on downdetector.co.uk but it could also just be people misinterpreting the error message they saw from Cloudflare when Shopify itself went down. cloudflarestatus.com doesn't mention any significant outage right now.

Shopify may actually be down because of a separate Cloudflare outage (Shopify use CF extensively across stores). Interestingly, the one Shopify store we have that is not actually down is the only one that we manage the DNS for on Cloudflare itself - it has its own Cloudflare account (CF document this configuration as 'O2O routing' developers.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-for…)

6 out of 7 of our Shopify Plus stores are completely down on the front-end. Admin is also not loading. shopifystatus.com claims "All Systems Operational" because they only ever seem to acknowledge and update this manually and after some time has passed.

Yikes, looks like Shopify admin and front-ends have gone down again. This is becoming a bit of a trend lately.

I didn't think it would actually be possible to break Shopify Flow but I guess importing 500k historical orders will do it Kudos to Matrixify for handling this pretty well!

@celispj @judgeme Impressive! How are you making that read / where is the data sourced from exactly?

.@judgeme now serves 52% of Shopify stores with a review app installed; that's over 1 in 5 Shopify stores. 💪

The worst part of this latest Shopify outage is some customers are intermittently seeing error pages saying "This store does not exist." Scary for us, and scary for customers!

Wow, seems like a major Shopify outage again. Checkout down, admin down. 😱 We were literally about to click go on an import of thousands of customers into a store we're migrating to Shopify - the timing is crazy!
