I noticed that the left-wing anti-war movement in America right now is being led by people who were the most pro-war 4 years ago and nobody has yet commented on that.

The murder of Charlie Kirk should’ve been a unifying event for the right. We should’ve realized the extent to which the left will go to silence influential conservative voices. Instead, it created an entire industry of Charlie’s alleged friends profiting off of conspiracies.

@druski This is too far man… You were completely disrespectful during NFL Honors & now you’re making fun of Erika Kirk, whose husband was brutally assassinated. This ain’t it.

Millennials (now nearing 40) have constructed this reality where positions of authority like cops can only be performed by people who are older than them. When they’re 70 they’ll be mad a 55 year old is arresting them

Nikita Bier says Creator Payouts will now be affected by the user’s location. But told me personally I wouldn’t get paid at all: “We won’t send you money overseas.” Why is a regular user being targeted like this? I just think this change raises many issues: - What about US citizens living abroad? (many are full time X creators) - What about legitimate international creators? - Users from countries with little user base? (Vatican, 800 people; Andorra, 80k, etc.) - International full time X creators? Why should an account like mine not be paid at all while delivering over 100M impressions a month? Because the Head of Product doesn’t like me? I think @elonmusk should look into this. There are smarter ways to deal with ‘foreign interference’ from 3rd world countries. I was suspended within minutes of respectfully commenting about Nikita, then unbanned by Elon Musk himself. Hope it doesn’t happen again. Just my opinion, respectfully.

I'm based in France, but 43% of my audience is American. I know many of us are in the same situation. To reach a wider audience, all my posts are in English, the international language. Those who cause trouble may be punished, but with this change, which will significantly reduce our earnings, you're also penalizing a number of accounts that use the international language without any ill intent. X tells us that videos and new, high-quality content will be prioritized, but this change will, on the contrary, drastically reduce our earnings. Is there any way to reverse this decision, please?🥺 @XCreators @X @nikitabier @elonmusk

Starting Thursday, we'll be updating our revenue sharing incentives to better reward the content we want on X: We will be giving more weight to impressions from your home region—to encourage content that resonates with people in your country, in neighboring countries and people who speak your language. While we appreciate everyone's opinion on American politics, we hope this will disincentivize gaming the attention of US or Japanese accounts and instead, drive diverse conversations on the platform. We invite creators to start building an audience locally. X will be a much richer community when there's relevant posts for people in all parts of the world.

Noah’s essay, which I actually highly recommend, reads like a tortured soul who is beginning to understand that this wasn’t a detour but rather the destination itself. The tragedy for guys like him is that they’re only just now starting to possibly realize that Progressivism didn’t emerge out of the darkness and destroy Liberalism over the last decade or so. Progressivism IS Liberalism. It’s what happens when liberal premises are taken seriously and followed through to their logical conclusion over an extended period of time. Progressivism displaced Liberalism precisely because Liberalism won. This is what your victory looks like in practice. The problem is that Noah is still trying to save Liberalism from its own destiny, which necessarily means undoing Liberalism’s own victories even if that isn’t your intention.

The transformation of liberals into "progressives" since 2013 has seriously been the worst thing to happen to American culture in my lifetime. Just absolutely gutted so much of what was good about this country. End of a golden age.

By 2029 globe emoji neoliberals will be pushing landback bills in major metros nationwide to do massive dense development that circumvents zoning regs and environmental review, while Kate Willett will be talking like Custer

@Robbiepierce @hecubian_devil You don’t earn votes through resentment. Produce better candidates. Pretending congressional representatives, and major metro mayors haven’t been Minorities is so corny. It’s not 2019 anymore so you can’t just scold whiteys into submission anymore

@hecubian_devil How are they going to "earn the wins" when California has ONLY ever elected white men as governor. We can easily consolidate behind someone whose leadership could actually help break down stereotypes. Your denial of systemic racism and affirmative action make you a regular racist

“The more popular white candidates should drop out to consolidate the field behind the Latina candidates who are less successful” is like a parody of Democrats and DEI. Sorry but we are leaving the identity-group entitlements behind in Woke 2. You have to earn the wins.

Opinion | Telling Latino candidates that now is the moment to step aside sends a message — intentional or not — about whose leadership is considered essential and whose is optional. cal.news/4t9IhHx 📝 Katharine Pichardo 📸 Zaydee Sanchez

@ViJaRada @hecubian_devil It’s not a problem at all. Maybe produce better candidates, these aren’t that spectacular so it should be fairly easy. We’re leaving idpol in 2019 in case you didn’t get the memo. Catch up

@hecubian_devil It is a problem that in a state as diverse as California, the top 5 polling candidates are all white (4 are men) but the lower-polling candidates still need to drop out. It's a long term issue, in the short-term these candidates need to drop out.

As a kid who was a die hard Trail Blazers fan, and lived through this era, I feel like the fans didn’t actually turn on this team as a whole? We liked them. I think the media turned on them and that’s the perception that followed. Can’t WAIT for this.

UNTOLD: JAIL BLAZERS premieres April 14. In the early 2000s, the Portland Trail Blazers were stacked with talent—and surrounded by controversy. Through firsthand stories from Rasheed Wallace, Damon Stoudamire, and Bonzi Wells, this is an unfiltered look at a team caught between brilliance and notoriety—and the media storm that followed.
