Gun Smoke is Capcom’s fast‑paced, Wild West vertical shooter, taken from their 1985 arcade game. It was released on the NES in February 1988 The game is a top‑down, auto‑scrolling shooter where you play a lone gunslinger fighting through outlaw‑controlled towns. Each town you build up cash, buy the wanted poster and take down the boss The game received a lot of praise on both NES and in the Arcade. In the arcade it was the 6th highest grossing arcade in Japan in 1986. While the NES version never reached the heights of games like Super Mario it still as a solid success for a third party game and is considered a cult classic among many. #NES #Nintendo #GunSmoke
