Jeremy Clarkson’s column on Zack Polanski in The Sun is pure gold! 😅😂
He said:
"I do wish people would stop touting Zack Polanski as a serious contender in the next election. He isn’t. My donkey is more likely to get elected."
He then brings attention to the awkward way in which Polanski was seen running through conference hall:
"The man isn’t even built properly - a point that becomes clear if you watch that social media gif of him running through a conference hall. Tom Cruise he is not. It’s like his arms are where his legs should be and vice versa and as a result, he has the stupidest running style I’ve ever seen."
Clarkson then comments on Polanski's desperate attempt to try a point the finger at the methods police officers used to apprehend the Golders Green terrorist:
"And then there’s what he says. This week, he castigated those policemen who tackled the knife-wielding thug in London, saying he’d seen them 'repeatedly and violently kicking a mentally ill man in the head',"
Finally closing with:
"And he thinks that normal people with fully formed adult brains will vote for him. Not a chance,"
Jeremy Clarkson is a national treasure and speaks with common sense. Neither of those qualities will ever be attributed to Zack Polanski.

Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya is being held unlawfully. His arbitrary detention must immediately be brought to an end. Each additional day compounds the responsibility of those detaining him.
May all Palestinian hostages be released soon.

UPDATE The Israeli court approved the extension of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya’s detention, without charges. The request for his immediate release was denied, despite the unlawful nature of his detention while carrying out his medical duties. He is held in Negev Prison in harsh conditions, without access to medication or medical care, as his health continues to deteriorate. We demand the immediate release of Dr. Abu Safiya along with 13 other detained doctors, as well as all medical personnel currently held in Israel. We call on the international community to intervene and put an end to this abuse.

An update on this, today: Lawyers have just reported that Thiago Ávila is being subjected to "repeated interrogations lasting up to eight hours". Interrogators have explicitly threatened him, stating he will either be “killed” or “spend 100 years in jail". Both Ávila and Saif Abukeshek are being held in total isolation, under constant high-intensity lighting. Lawyers say this is as "a known Israeli Prison Service (IPS) practice specifically designed to induce sleep deprivation and sensory disorientation." Ávila has reported being held in extremely cold temperatures. Both men are kept "blindfolded at all times whenever they are moved outside their cells, including during medical examinations".

The First Intifada (1987-1993) started as a non-violent programme of protests, strikes, boycotts, refusal to pay taxes, and other acts of civil disobedience. Israeli security forces responded with excessive violence, including using live ammunition against unarmed civilians. Palestinians turned to violence in response.
Israeli forces killed 332 Palestinians in the first 13 months and over a thousand over the whole intifada, including 240 children. 100 Israeli civilians were killed and 60 soldiers.

It’s very simple: the Intifada was a campaign of suicide bombings, shootings and stabbings that killed hundreds of Israeli civilians. Calling for it to be “globalised” means bringing it here. That isn’t “criticising Israel”. It’s inciting violent hatred.

The Israeli bunker mentality which has come to dominate Israeli expression toward the outside world (i.e. everyone is an antisemite, all criticism is bad faith, we need to change nothing and keep hitting harder without limits) has become a perhaps unintended force multiplier in the effort to isolate Israel. Few things seem to be more effective at getting people to reject support for Israel than simply showing them what the Israeli military and its leaders say and do.

This is unacceptable hate. The fact that the perpetrators feel comfortable doing this highlights how pervasive antisemitism has become.

Multiple synagogues and private homes in Queens were vandalized overnight with swastikas and other antisemitic graffiti. @Lynn4NYC, @PhilWongNYC and I are at one of the sites, Congregation Machane Chodosh, in Forest Hills now. When rabbis and congregants arrived to pray this morning, they expected to be met with their usual loving community. When a family woke up, they were prepared to begin an otherwise normal week. Instead, they were met with terrifying signals of hatred and threats of violence. We have visited some of these locations and are in contact with the NYPD, which is investigating and searching for at least four individuals responsible for the terrible incidents. The graffiti will be removed once the investigation is complete. With antisemitism on the rise here and across the globe, we will always stand up for our Jewish community and fight back against hate.
