Update: Here is the #LondonMarathon men's elite field as announced by @LondonMarathon today. The race features a rematch between reigning champion Sabastian Sawe and runner-up Jacob Kiplimo. Also, interesting debuts by Yomif Kejelcha & Hagos Gebrhiwet. No Americans this year.

@McKirdyTrained He pulled out of Boston the week before because he “injured” his ankle. He won Ottawa a month later.

Looks like Tsegay will be moved up to 8th - here’s to hoping this test was BEFORE NYC so his results can be nullified.

Anything can happen in a tactical race 🤠 The #WorldAthleticsChamps 10,000m final was a pretty dang slow one (the slowest winning time ever), and as a result the podium featured two men from countries that had never had a medalist before, Jimmy Gressier 🇫🇷 and Andreas Almgren 🇸🇪. Americans put three in the top 11 led by Nico Young’s 5th place finish, but no medal this time for Team USA.
