I've had a cold for a few days, but weirdly everything I've eaten / drunk since has tasted exquisite - peanut butter, cheese and crackers, spaghetti bolognese etc. have all levelled up. I thought a cold was meant to make everything worse #cold #sneeze #flu #yummy #tasty #weird

@carygolomb Aspyr continues damaging their rep with a slew of quick and dirty ports.

We've seen Star Wars Outlaws on Switch 2 highlight how building for the hardware can pay dividends. Unfortunately, that goes both ways and if a developer doesn't do that extra work, what you're left with is non-ideal. Something you just have to accept with the platform.

@selnor1983 @carygolomb FSR4 exists on Steam Deck in an unofficial capacity. I'm sure it'll find it's way to the Gabe Cube in due course.

@carygolomb Um no. Sorry. This is crazy underpowered for 2026. It has 8 gb Vram. No chance your getting 4K textures at 4K 60. Its using the awful FSR 3. I mean awful. And its RDNA 3 in 2026 for PC gaming with no AI processor to last 5-6 years?This will struggle from 2028 AAA PC games

For a frame of reference, this will have a bit less GPU grunt than PS5 but significantly better CPU, even when the CPU is capped at 30watt For reference, PS5 CPU is already capped at 35watt. So, expect similar-ish image quality to PS5 but a noticeable boost in framerate.

Digital Foundry has confirmed Borderlands 4’s performance degrades overtime on ALL consoles. Drops start after 30 mins and reach as low as 720p 35FPS after 1 hour. Absolutely unacceptable that this was allowed to launch like this, Randy says restarting fixes it so its fine🤷‍♂️

@carygolomb Definitely for worse. Looking forward to further optimised ARM SOCS to blow these out of the water very soon.

$1100 for everything on offer here is a "normal" low cost. AMD charged a LOT more for Zen5 based APUs than Zen4 APUs and as a result all of this pricing is now way higher. Even tho Zen5 APUs don't have much better GPUs This is the new normal for better or worse.
