Reminder that @avilewis, leader of the Federal NDP, believes antisemitism is just a "narrative" forced by the "Israel lobby" and that Jews are "cartoonish narcissists," "perpetrators," "supremacists" and "crybullies" who "urgently" must be made uncomfortable.

@MadLadMarcin @smcroasters Don't forget the On to Ottawa Trek started in BC and ended in the Regina Riot. The CCF was first elected in Saskatchewan. Winnipeg had a massive general strike! The prairies will be full of your despised commies again!

@smcroasters I wager I have more in common with you than anyone in the shitlib east here. The folks in the blue area aren't the ones you have beef with. We have a common enemy in the red areas.

@kinsellawarren Nothing to do with a shared hatred of the Black and Tans? Expressing solidarity with people oppressed and exploited by the same Crown. The same as the Indigenous people whose ancestors experienced violence at the hands of the RCMP when they were a rag tag band of Orangemen?

Ran into an Irish ex-pat. They asked if I'd been there. Me: Many times. Them: When you are going back? Me: Likely never. Ireland has turned into an antisemitic shithole. Fuck 'em. Them:

Can @DianneSaxe get a plow to Glen Baillie Pl this year as fast as she got the unhoused displaced outside of St. Stephen in the Fields church? They write hundreds of parking tickets a year here but when the snow falls we clear our walkways and we get plowed and salted once!

Make no mistake: the flooding we see in the city today is no surprise. It is an outcome of politicians taking a very very very shortsighted view of infrastructure planning and investment. Take a look at this vote from 2018 requesting an increase in stormwater infrastructure spending. It failed. Disinvestment in the city leads to the mess you saw today. Same with traffic congestion. Both are an outcome of a broken approach to municipal infrastructure financing - and a lack of leadership. Every politician who voted no to this - and many more similar votes that were about necessary reinvestment - should be held to account. They made this mess. This is entirely solvable. We even know *how* to solve it and we have the plans to solve it. But politicians refuse to fund it. Now we will waste billions cleaning up the mess.
Mike Layton@m_layton

@GraphicMatt @CoryJudson Dug up this vote from 2018 rate supported budget that asked for an increase in stormwater infrastructure spending. It failed.

@Sflecce Drug users already fix in my local Tim Hortons. This government defunded safe injection sites which just made my neighbourhood more unsafe for my kids. Correlation is not causation in B.C. and re-criminalizing small possession won't fix the problem. Stick to privatizing education

In what world do we want to import the disastrous BC experience of drug decriminalization to Ontario? Overdose is now the leading cause of death among CHILDREN aged 10-17 in BC. This failed Liberal experiment must be vigorously opposed in this province. This is madness... normalizing crack usage in parks where kids play. NO!
Sylvia Jones@SylviaJonesMPP

Our government has been clear: We are not interested in the failed decriminalization experiment anywhere in Ontario. Instead, we are focused on investing in key services and building safer communities for everyone. We urge Toronto to rescind their misguided application.

Indefensible position by Teachers Unions to prioritize pension entitlements over access to qualified educators. Everyone is on the same page here, in support of our common sense *short-term* proposal that is backed by every Ontario Trustee Association, Principal Association, & Director of Education. I'm urgently asking the OTF to immediately reconsider this decision.

College Street between Bathurst x Spadina is a nightmare. People will be injured here. I have got to think we deserve a better standard of construction safety than this, especially where they are installing bike lanes? @DianneSaxe @TO_Cycling_Ped @311Toronto
