I haven't reported media scoops in a few years because I wanted to focus on bigger stories and speak my mind once Fox bought OutKick. But I've heard a ton about the Russini stuff today, and I'm stuck at home. Here's a rundown: • The Athletic originally didn't think it was a big deal. • It now does and wants her to prove she was with other people. • Her contract is up soon. • She is one of the highest-paid people at the company, if not the highest, if you count written-only. • Everyone I've talked to has said something to the effect of, "This was obvious. This is her reputation." • Most people don't think she will survive this. That said, firing someone can be tough in 2026. High possibility of a lawsuit if not done properly. • It's hard to believe she was on a girls' trip and there are no photos. Has there ever been a girls' trip without photos? • Women in media are upset because they believe this will reflect poorly on all of them. They said this after the Joy Taylor scandal too. • Speculation that her husband hired a PI, but people are just guessing. • And here's an interesting one. People in the industry claim to know a lot about Dianna. But it goes both ways. I don't know how many reporters want to make an enemy out of her, especially if she is free to say whatever she wants. • I heard her closest media allies were Cassidy Hubbarth, Jen Lada, and PFT from Barstool. None of them has commented so far. Lada is a real journalist, so she may not. • I Russini's career as a credible insider is over. • Even if she can prove her relationship with Vrabel was platonic, the public won't believe her. • No matter what, she will always be the reporter the public thinks cheated on her husband with Vrabel. • One other random nugget: an exec kept track of all the NFL free agency scoops this past March. Per the exec, she was 6th: 1) Rapoport, 2) Pelissero, 3) Schefter, 4) Fowler, 5) Schultz, 6) Russini.

So, I’m convinced that Jesus never claimed to be God. Now, this is completely independent from whether he was God. But I don’t think he told people he was. Here’s why: There’s no mention of him definitively claiming to be God in Mark, Matthew, or Luke, the three earliest Gospels. This would put us at 3 or 6 different sources before John — depending on if you believe they were actually Mark, Matthew and Luke, or if the latter two used Mark, Q, L, and M as sources. Either way, it’s hard to imagine that if Jesus claimed to be God that not a single one of them would’ve mentioned it. We don’t get definitive claims of Jesus calling himself God until John, which is the latest and most theological Gospel. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m skeptical about the historical reliability of John, given how late it is and how much it differs from the Synoptic Gospels. Moreover, Jesus tended to downplay when people asked him if he were claiming to God, picking up stones. I understand there are different interpretations of “Son of Man.” But I don’t think it’s historically accurate to say Jesus claimed to he God, unless we are convinced John is reliable.

It made me so happy to see this. But I’m also posting this because, in recent days, I’ve noticed that whenever someone shares a video, story, or photo that doesn’t fit with the monarchist messaging, they’re attacked and told their family member or friend in Iran must be a regime supporter and that’s why they have internet access. Videos and photos can still get out. It’s much more difficult, but not impossible. Does this look like the regime to you?

Ridley, Robinson, Dike, Ayo, Helm, TP and Spears whole losing C and RG isn’t exactly the offensive reinforcements you were hoping for going into year 2 of your number 1 overall QB’s career. Even if they do draft Love, it doesn’t do a lot for the ceiling but Robinson + Love does raise the floor quite a bit, which is fine. But if they don’t go offense at 4, the way it stands right now my hopes for this offense is very touch and go. This is why I have a hard time imagining they don’t address it.
