@VoidSpecter001 @Dipdil Kesh came only in 1699. Before that Sikhs didn't keep long hair. Before Guru Gobind, none of the preceding 9 gurus insisted on Sikhs to have kesh or the other 4 items of faith. So it is not compulsory to have kesh to be called a Sikh.

Don't bring in any quotes from outside of SGGS to call it Guru's word. Sindhi Sikhs and Nanakpanthi Sikhs are Sikhs who follow Guru Nanak's philosophy. They are Sikhs.
