@PattyMurray I don't think the "average" person is who those concerned with voter fraud are worried about.

The average person is more likely to be struck by lightning than they are to commit voter fraud. Seriously. That's a real stat. I'm voting NO on the SAVE America Act.

@jsonwho73 @nfaleide Prepay is different for every farm. Some win some don’t. Prepaid before and shit fell on its ass after we’ve bought or in season. Do ya broadcast that or just when ya come out ahead?

President Trump is WRONG… Glyphosate CAUSES CANCER!!
The HighWire@HighWireTalk

We know you haven't been living under a rock, so many of you know that President Trump just signed an executive order invoking the Defense Production Act to scale up domestic glyphosate production, citing national security. The MAHA community is sounding the alarm. And they have every right to. This is the same chemical that the International Agency for Research on Cancer labeled a "probable carcinogen" in 2015. The same chemical that Bayer/Monsanto has paid out $11.8 billion euros to resolve, facing 200,000 harm claims and 125,000 lawsuits. The same chemical whose key safety study (ghostwritten by Monsanto employees) was just retracted in December. And now the executive order includes an immunity clause. Under the Defense Production Act, no person shall be held liable for damages resulting from compliance with an order issued under it. Bayer/Monsanto has been lobbying hard for exactly this kind of liability shield while fighting hundreds of thousands of cancer lawsuits. The timing is not lost on anyone. Florida's own testing found glyphosate residue in six out of eight bread loaves tested, including two brands of Organic Dave's Killer Bread. Nature's Own, Sara Lee, and Wonderbread came in at 132-191 parts per billion. The EPA says that's fine. The EPA has always said it's fine. Here's what RFK Jr. said in 2024, before taking office: "My USDA will ban" the practice of using glyphosate as a desiccant on wheat. In 2022 he called it "huge news" when India banned it. He flagged that 80% of urine samples from American children had measurable glyphosate levels and linked it to breast cancer, endocrine disruption, and infertility. A spokesperson for Secretary Kennedy issued a statement calling the executive order putting "America first where it matters most." The MAHA community that helped put this administration in power is asking a very reasonable question right now: What happened? @scoutstandup @amtoxicology @RobSchneider I know how, I've sprayed them for 30 plus years according to the labels. No issues. Like I said show 1 iota of proof of gly causing cancer....by the way, gly is not a pesticide. I agree with @RobSchneider on most issues but this one's getting a little out of control sir.

Farmers posting about having all their fertilizer lined up...really? Do you have all your grain sold too? How about all the forward sales that didn't work out so hot last year?Or the years before? Let's try to stay humble please

The fertilizer market is very concerning right now especially if this war lasts for awhile. Prices are rising fast if you can even get it. What % of your fertilizer needs for this year is secured, applied, or paid for?

American Rancher Alliance/Hufeisen Ranch
Three-day-old bull calves are selling for $2,200 right now. Three days old. Still drinking milk. And someone is paying twenty-two hundred dollars for that calf. That calf won’t become beef for 16–18 months. So why are buyers willing to pay that much today? Because the U.S. cattle herd is now one of the smallest in decades after years of drought, rising costs, and ranchers being pushed out of the industry. The beef you see in stores today came from a much bigger herd in the past. But the cow herd behind it is shrinking. When someone pays $2,200 for a newborn calf, they aren’t buying beef today. They’re betting on what beef will cost in the future. And that should make every American stop and think. From ranchers to parents to everyday consumers — we all depend on a food system that most people never see. The real question is: What will beef cost when that calf finally hits your dinner plate? Support the American Rancher Alliance as we work to restore transparency and rebuild America’s cattle supply chain. Donate or become a sponsor to help us bring real American beef back to American families. ⸻ #CattleMarket #BeefPrices #RanchTok #AgTok #FarmNews
