Medvedev should have an easy time against Michelsen who I dont see causing much harm to Daniil in these conditions. They get an evening match so conditions should have slowed down to some extent and nothing Michelsen does is effective against Medvedev. He cant outrally him , cant hit through him and cant trouble Medvedev with his change of direction from the backhand wing as Medvedev will get back every ball and shouldnt have trouble returning Michelsen's serve As for Svitolina , she's just so much better than Siniakova and leads the h2h 4-0 despite dropping a set in each of their encounters , i dont see any advantage for Siniakova here. Siniakova has one of the most underrated backhands on tour and uses it to outhit and change direction effectively but the problem here is that Svitolina's backhand is top 10 on tour and makes it so much easier to counter Siniakova's groundstrokes from the baseline. Siniakova also has played tonnes of tennis ( 3.5 hours against Fernandez and almost 3 hours against Andreeva while playing dubs) so if this somehow goes to 3 sets , I don't see her winning this match against a marathon player like Svitolina who's so much better in these conditions than Siniakova who prefers quick and low bouncing surfaces LIKE IF TAILING ❤️

Challenger Hersonissos🏛️ Lui Maxted ML🇬🇧 vs. Harry Wendelken🇬🇧 | @ 1.75 [2U] I absolutely love this spot for Maxted against Wendelken in Hersonissos. The scheduling and surface transition alone make this a massive fade on Wendelken. Wendelken was just playing on indoor hardcourts in Pszczyna, Poland, only a few days ago (where he made the semis but lost to Sorger). Now, he has to travel and immediately adapt to the outdoor conditions in Greece. Hersonissos is known for its slow, gritty hardcourts and different ball flight due to the wind and humidity. It is notoriously difficult to find your range on those slow courts when you’re coming straight from a fast, controlled indoor environment. Maxted, on the other hand, is already fully acclimated. He came through the qualifiers here looking sharp, taking out Story and a tough college player in Stefan Dostanic. I rate Maxted highly for this Challenger season. He’s a speedy counterpuncher with an underrated serve and great hands at the net. His court IQ and anticipation are elite for this level, and he’s exactly the kind of player who will make you pay if your timing is even slightly off because of a surface change. We also have a very recent head-to-head to look at. Maxted beat Wendelken just over a month ago in Glasgow. Even though that was on indoor hardcourts (Wendelken’s preferred surface), Maxted still won in straight sets. If he could beat him there, he should be even more dangerous here on the slow outdoor courts where his defensive skills and All-Court game have more time to shine. I expect Maxted to use his superior rhythm to drag Wendelken into long, physical rallies. Wendelken will likely struggle with the bounce and timing early on, and against a player as fit as Maxted, those early errors can snowball quickly.
