Exciting news! Working with @PocklingtonHub we have launched an approved free national bus and coach driver training resource for all trainers and operators as part of #CatchTheBusMonth - working with @CPT_UK, @DVSAgovuk, @transportgovuk & @BrightonHoveBus  Narrated by Paralympic Gold medallist @loraturnham and developed with our volunteers, these materials will reach over 95% of local UK bus services and around 65 per cent of coach operators.  Access training: bit.ly/3z71yCX #CTBM24 #MakeBusesAccessible #VisionForChange @BusUsersUK

We had a fantastic morning yesterday in Crawley for #CatchTheBusMonth. The initiative led by @BusUsersUK returns in September with the aim to get everyone onboard and champion accessible travel. We were joined by members of @PocklingtonHub, @SurreyCoalition, @SurreyNews and @WSCCNews County Council who heard feedback from the local community on bus travel and accessibility.

2/3 Nick shared his experiences of mental illness through a powerful, inspiring, & engaging talk. The session enabled blind and partially sighted participants to learn how to use their own lived experience to overcome the anxiety of #PublicSpeaking.  bit.ly/3UJUx1G

Earlier this month, our Young Voices volunteers had their first in-person meeting of 2024 and met Markéta Kristlová, Brand Equity Lead at Müller who shared her experience and knowledge of branding and marketing with the students. bit.ly/3UiFagy

This weekend our #YoungVoices volunteers went on their first residential of 2024! We all had the best time bonding, taking part in some fun activities but most importantly planning our projects which will improve the lives of blind and partially sighted people!
