@SublimeTrades I found this to be one of the hardest things. You want the functionality you like from broker packages but end up having to do lots of coding and configuration to make it work. What chart package are you using? Those look very nice.

@Switterman This is my preferred approach. Get a good entry and if you get a good move you can take some profit and have cushion to let the play work if HTF says you can.

@kpak82 This is a more lengthy explanation and/or facet of “patience”. Oh so true though.

Everyone wants to do whatever it takes to have an edge as a trader. But I always ask them: "Can you not trade for a week or even a day?" (silence) Half of all traders are dopamine addicts with no willpower. They need their daily fix of "trading," and it doesnt have to be pretty.

@Switterman One of the things I am envious/admire most about your recaps. Appreciate seeing the examples.

If you follow my feed, you probably notice that it is common for me to flip from long to Short or short to Long. No matter how biased I am, each day before a trade I force myself to think about the conditions which would make the stock I am looking at be a long, or short.

Any recommendation for a good wallet GPS card -- not like a @TheTileApp that runs off Bluetooth and only useful if your phone is near your wallet but something with legit GPS built in? (I can google and did - looking for someone who actually has used/recommends something). TY!

@Trader19999 The market is going to seem dull if it goes back to “normal”. These big swings are exciting. Very profitable if “lucky” but also very dangerous.

@Trader19999 I find it fascinating to think about the number of retail traders that will never trade again after the current volatility. Either due to emotional toll or blown up accounts.
