So it turns out that when the boy was thrown to the crocodiles yesterday, both of the carers were on their phones. Furthermore, in spite of the fact that the suspect was a large man, both carriers were female. I would argue that if a large disabled man is dangerous enough to throw a child over a 4 foot safety barrier into a crocodile pool - and the boy was in fact bitten - then perhaps he should be attended by caregivers who are also large men. Or, you know, and I’m just spit balling here, he could be kept in a secure facility where he can’t get to vulnerable children. It’s a crazy idea, but I think it just might work.

Last night, I attended The Free Press’ monthly gathering they just started. A lot of Jews came, which makes sense, since @TheFP tells the truth about Israel. People were standing around, talking about how they lost so many friends after October 7th. “My best friend cut me off because I support Israel,” one woman said. She talked about how painful it was for her and how she still doesn’t understand it. As she passionately explained how her entire friends group had become tainted, captured by the anti-Israel mind virus, I saw the other Jews nodding their heads in agreement, with pained looks on their faces. Then, my husband asked the woman: “Are you Jewish?” “No,” she said. I was shocked. She continued, “I knew nothing about Israel, but after I saw what happened on October 7th, I did my research and became pro-Israel.” I was so touched, and thanked her. I told her I hope she’s made new friends (including us). All you hear about is the loud anti-Israel, antisemitic crowd, but we have more support and love out there than we realize.
