Facebook Ads are still the most powerful marketing tool on the planet creating hundreds of thousands of millionaires over the last few years. The problem is most people quit using Facebook Ads when their first ad doesn't perform and they don't generate any revenue. There are a handful of things that you should know if you are struggling. 1. Where are you sending the visitors? If you are sending people to a generic home page, or a PDP that doesn't get them emotionally interested or answer all of the questions then of course they aren't going to buy. Send them to a proper landing page designed to be in line with your ad. Ad Messaging There are five levels of consumer awareness for every product. - Unaware - Problem Aware - Solution Aware - Product Aware - Most Aware. Most brands tend to cover 2 of these, maybe 3 and expect their Facebook Ads to kill it. At scale you need to meet the consumer where they are and provide them the messaging they need to convince them to buy. Your AOV is too low If your average over value is too low, you are never going to be able to make your Facebook Ads work. There are many things you can do to drive up your AOV without reducing your conversion rate. These can be things as easy as increasing your free shipping threshold, to incentivizing the consumer to take more volume. I did a paid training on this with @iamshackelford where I dug deep into a TON of different ways to bring your AOV up. 4. Facebook Ad account structure If your ad account is split up into a million little campaigns, Facebook will never be able to leverage the AI to maximize your results. If you build the right creative and consolidate your account, Facebook's AI will determine which creative to put in front of the right audience at the right time.
