Huge thank you to Emmanuel College for hosting this game. It’s 3-3 this quarter through 5 minutes. WH trails 27-24

Junior guard Dylan Hurley and sophomore guard Maliah Pierre each had a team high 13 points as #7 seeded Whitman Hanson upset #2 seeded Dartmouth to go to the Final Four for the second time in 3 years. Senior Center Keryn Stone was solid again off of the bench scoring 9 points and owning the glass. It was a total team effort defensively guarding Dartmouth’s outstanding senior guard Katherine Cheeseboro who poured in a game high 25 points. The team is awaiting their Final Four opponent either #14 Walpole or #6 South High.

Whitman Hanson boys hockey lost to the Auburn Rockets tonight 6-1. Auburn scored 2 in the first. Then added another 4 in the second to take a 6-0 lead after 2. The panthers got their lone goal from freshman Nick Beltramini in the third to make it 6-1. Nick Zaccaria made 23 saves. The Panthers ended their amazing season 14-5-3.

It may be a long drive to Auburn but that’s nothing compared to the journey our boys hockey team has taken together. They have worked so hard to get to this point and Panther Nation has been a big boost to our team all season. We hope to see you all there tonight at 8pm as number 9 boys hockey takes on number 8 Auburn at Hogan rink in round 2 of the division 2 MIAA tournament. Please drive safe and wear seatbelts.
