She talked me out of the darkness and loved me through my own self-loathing. It wasn’t always like this. I didn’t always have someone I trusted enough to send that message to. But here we are now, learning as we grow. Fixing my relationship with my mom is and will always be my biggest blessing (second only to the day I rescued Luna) Happy Mother’s Day to the sons and daughters trying to connect with their moms, and to the moms who need a little big push to get there.
