🚨🇬🇧 Far-right agitator, Filip Dewinter, has also been banned from Tommy's hate rally. Dewinter wants you to believe he's just a regular politician with normal, moderate views on immigration. Let's take a closer look. Dewinter is a 40-year veteran of Vlaams Belang, the rebranded successor to Vlaams Blok - convicted of racism by Belgian courts in 2004 and dissolved to dodge the ruling. A month later, he was named in the Czech state intelligence's exposure of Voice of Europe - the Kremlin-financed influence operation that paid European politicians to push Russian narratives ahead of the 2024 elections. He'd already helped draft a 2018 Belgian resolution to lift sanctions on Russia. He'd "observed" Putin's rigged elections in 2016 and 2018. He'd led a Belgian delegation to Assad's Syria in 2017. He'd been photographed with Russian consul Georgy Kuznetsov - expelled from Belgium for espionage in 2022 - after inviting him into the Flemish parliament. Last week, he chaired a closed-door panel in Paris alongside Tommy Robinson. The panel called for sanctions on Russia to be lifted and for Ukraine to cede territory. Dewinter said Russia should be brought "back into the fold of Europe." This is, almost word for word, what the Kremlin paid Voice of Europe to say. He was banned from the UK on Sunday under "not conducive to the public good" - the same provision used on six other speakers booked for Tommy's rally. Tommy's headline martyr for the suppression of European voices is a man who took money from the Chinese Communist Party to recruit European politicians on Beijing's behalf, and who is currently doing the Kremlin's lobbying for free. Dewinter isn't a politician with strong views on immigration. He's a man who praised the SS in public, took money from Chinese intelligence, and now lobbies for the Kremlin. That's the speaker Tommy chose to 'unite the kingdom'.
