Who ever is working at @webflow must live in a bubble. Most of the sites I build are for professionals like lawyers, real estate agents, musicians, restaurants, individual healthcare professionals, beauty professionals etc. They don’t have marketing teams. More ranting below....

I just want to design sites that are more awesome than squarespace, have customizable CMS items, and ability to design for different break pts

@juneleedesign I think for them this was always part of the longer term plans. They stopped working on new components in Webflow at the end of last year to rework how Relume works. Looking forward to seeing what it looks like.

Why would you leave this larger group on the table and just cater to enterprise? It’s time for Timothy Ricks to build the new Webflow.

The fact you have to hack your way to CMS slider, tab or filter is ridiculous. I tired app gen on a real estate site for properties and it was garbage. Now with these price increases it’s really pushing out the small professional businesses.

Optimize. It’s so disappointing. Most people if they use AI use a separate AI tool/llm. Over the years Webflow introduces half baked features at the Webflow conference that never get fully realized and eventually get deprecated, while people are begging for better CMS features

I have used Webflow to build these site because I can build a custom site to represent their business and their needs. Usually these people don’t touch their site too often. Right now I am building a site for a regenerative farming collective. They don’t care about App Gen or ...

I've started using Claude. It's great but I can see how someone can spend 20 hours a day on this thing and feel like they accomplished something when they've done nothing.
