Miles, taken 2nd, would have been a terrible pick for Wings because she is not good on defense, resulting in two weak defenders as starters (Arike & Miles). And, they acquired top vet front court players in free agency.

They are propped up by the shared pool fund that big market teams pay more in to.Took NBA 40 years to become stable as a league.
