Somalia has announced a ban on all Israeli-linked vessels transiting the Bab al-Mandab Strait. However, the move is largely symbolic, as the federal government has limited control over the coastline bordering the strait, much of which is controlled by the self-declared, Somaliland.
That said, Somali forces could still attempt to harass or disrupt shipping in the Gulf of Aden.

I’m pretty certain the IRGC fast boat fleet has largely stayed intact.
Actually a very important part of the IRGC navy. Not exactly sure why they were spared, possibly because most are still hidden underground.
If a new round erupts, I do expect them to be targeted.

Following the engagement, a Force Recon element from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit boarded the vessel.
