The cries coming out of Gangare community in Barkin Ladi, Plateau State, are too painful for words. Once again, innocent men, women, and children have been left bleeding and broken after the fresh attack carried out on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, by suspected Fulani militia. Today, many of the survivors are lying in hospital beds, receiving treatment for gunshot wounds and severe injuries. Some are struggling to breathe through the pain. Some cannot speak because of the trauma they witnessed. Mothers are weeping beside wounded children. Fathers are watching helplessly as their families suffer. Young people who once dreamed of a peaceful future are now fighting for their lives. These are not just statistics. These are human beings created in the image of God. These are families whose only desire was to live peacefully in their ancestral homes. Yet violence has turned their nights into fear and their mornings into sorrow. The people of Barkin Ladi are tired of burying loved ones. They are tired of living under constant fear. Every attack leaves behind another generation traumatized, displaced, and heartbroken. How long will innocent blood continue to cry from the soil of Plateau State? The Bible says in Psalm 34:18: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Right now, many hearts in Gangare are crushed in spirit. But we pray that God Himself will draw near to every wounded victim lying in those hospitals. May He touch every bullet wound with His healing hands. May He strengthen every doctor, nurse, and caregiver attending to the injured. May He comfort every family crying through sleepless nights. We also remember those who lost loved ones in this terrible tragedy. No words can truly heal the pain of suddenly losing a father, a mother, a child, a brother, or a sister to violence. But we pray that God will give the grieving families the strength to continue even in unimaginable sorrow. Isaiah 41:10 says: “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee.” To the wounded victims in the hospitals, you are not forgotten. To the grieving families, your tears matter. To the people of Plateau State, your pain is seen by God even when the world seems silent. We call on security agencies and government authorities to rise beyond words and promises. Human lives are sacred. Communities deserve protection. The people of Barkin Ladi deserve to sleep without fear of gunfire in the night. Peace must return to Plateau State. May God bring healing to the injured. May God comfort the grieving. May God protect every vulnerable community. And may the bloodshed in Plateau finally come to an end. Lord, let peace rise again in Barkin Ladi. Amen.

Nigeria just set 150/400 as the minimum university admission score. That's 37.5%. Polytechnics? 100/400. A pass mark of 25%. This is how nations fail. Meanwhile: 🇨🇳 China — 10 million students compete annually in the Gaokao. One exam. Brutal. No mercy. You either earn your place or you don't. 🇰🇷 South Korea — the Suneung is so serious that military drills stop, flights are rerouted, and the entire country goes quiet on exam day. 31% of students retake it to improve. 🇯🇵 Japan — entrance exams are so rigorous that students spend years in preparation school (ronin) just to qualify. Oxford and Harvard don't lower the bar so more people can get in. They raise the bar so the best are forced to rise. Nigeria has over 200 million people, the talent exists, but when you tell a generation that 37.5% is enough, you get garbage in, garbage out — at every level of public life. The crisis in Nigeria isn't just political. It starts here. #Nigeria #Education #JAMB #NigeriaEducation #HowNationsFail

The Heads of Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria had unanimously agreed that the Minimum Admissible Scores for admissions into Universities should be 150, Colleges of Nursing, 150, and Polytechnics, 100.

MILITARY ARRESTS COMMUNITY WATCH YOUTH IN BARKIN LADI LGA OF PLATEAU STATE - Calls it "illegal arm possession" in the guise of "protecting the community". Recent developments in Plateau State have led to heightened justification of illegal arms possession, through the “self-defense” narrative that has become increasingly prevalent in the region. The spotlight has recently turned to the arrest of a local community watchman, whose primary responsibility involved patrolling and securing the peace in the Barkin Ladi Local Government Area. This individual, a youth actively participating in community safety initiatives, was taken into custody during a comprehensive security operation conducted by the troops of Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP). The authorities revealed that the watchman was found in possession of a locally fabricated rifle. In light of these, military and security officials said they against any form of unauthorized armed mobilization, irrespective of the ethnic or communal motivations behind such actions. They have issued stern warnings about the implications of allowing illegal arms to circulate under the pretense of community protection, indicating that this not only threatens ongoing peace initiatives but also undermines military operations aimed at stabilizing Plateau State.

So directly before Fulani terrorists attack Gangare, the military arrests local Berom youth with a shotgun. Am I hearing this correctly? The army is directly disarming indigenes, while allowing Fulani terrorists to have AK47 and PKM as they murder Christian’s daily?
